  • Great sellers and love the product
My 4yo son received one of these for his 2nd birthday, and has been BEGGING me for another. The original spider I ordered has a defect and stopped working. Upon contacting the seller on 12/29/2020 they advised me they would contact the warehouse and have another sent to us, but it would be after January 4th as they were out for the holidays. I was shocked when I received the package on Sunday, January 3rd!! Thank you so much for the quick response and speedy delivery on the replacement. My son is thrilled! ... show more

  • Son loves it!
Honestly, I was fairly worried about buying this thing after reading the reviews, but really glad I did! My son saw a more expensive spider in a YouTube commercial that wasn't remote controlled and has been begging for it ever since. After doing some looking around on Amazon, my husband and I settled on this one and my son honestly absolutely loves it. It's a little weird to steer, only turns in one direction, and is pretty loud but is honestly still a lot of fun and my four year old is having a blast chasing the dog around with it. It looks pretty creepy when it turns, and the batteries I put in it lasted a lot longer than I expected! They were some old AAA batteries I just happened to find around the house. I think they've been in there for going on four days, and my son has left it on almost the whole time, but it's still going. My favorite thing is just how big this thing is. I mean, it was supposed to be big, but definitely didn't expect how big! I've included a picture with my size 10 in women's foot next to it. My only concern are the legs seem really easy to break, so definitely avoid dropping this thing. But, on the plus side, the legs don't appear to have anything to do with it's movement, so I would imagine it won't completely ruin the spider's ability to move around normally if it was missing one or two. I would definitely recommend this big guy for a kid that's easy on their toys. ... show more

  • Great for pranks
Scared my hubby real good. Very realistic and creepy "walking" motion. But it's really noisy. I was expecting something quieter. However it did the trick, literally. Easy to drive, bright red glowing eyes, battery life seems pretty good. Overall good quality

  • Don't waste your money.
Do you have a child who gets a little too excited for Christmas, that needs a life lesson on how cheaply toys are manufactured these days? Would you like to see the soul crushing look in their sweet innocent little eyes? Do you feel like you spend your hard earned money on toys that last and are so tired of it? Look no further, does Amazon have the toy for you! This toy will quell whatever excitement the child had for it! It will do this without ever being turned on at all. You see, the secret to this toys success is it uses the softest, cheapest screws possible so that even with a tool box full of good quality screwdrivers of any possible size, not one of them will be able to remove the screw for the battery case. The screw will strip within minutes even with an appropriately sized screw driver! Genius! You never have to experience the child's laughter at playing with their new toy as they will never get to experience it. TLDR; Cheaply made garbage with soft screws that strip and leave metal shavings. Buy this if you enjoy being ripped off. ... show more

  • Cheap but fun!
While my nephew loves this gift, the obviously cheap manufacturing doesn’t look like it will last long.

  • Great, durable, fun remote control spider.
A great time awaits you with this giant rattling roving scarey tarantula with bright red lights as eyes. The remote control unit is simple enough that my 4 year old granson can send this scary creature wherever he wants. He loves it if I squeel, shreik or scream a little bit. It's all part of the fun. Best of all, it keeps on going and going so he doesn't get frustrated because he has to stop to deal with dead batteries. ... show more

  • Dissapointed in remote controlled Discovery RC Tarrantula.
This toy was a birthday gift for child. He loved it. After he opened it we had no problem adding batteries to remote control. But when attempting to add batteries to tarrantula the screw appeared to be stripped. We had to use needle nose pliers to remove. Added batteries and used duct tape to keep battery case closed. But had to keep adding tape due to batteries kept loosening and product would not work. Child cried for me not to take it and return it as he wanted to play with it as is. Was very dissapointed in the product due to these problems with the screw. ... show more
