The inside has a shiny thermal lining that helps trap heat, and it feels smooth to the touch. It’s kind of like the inside of an insulated lunch bag but thicker. Recently I have added a barbecue meat blanket. I wrapped the beef brisket with tin foil after baking it. The meat is soft and the juice will often flow out. Once this meat blanket is used, it will be put directly in after baking. Not only will it keep it warm but it will not leak oil. It tastes the same as what I just baked. It is also easy to clean it, unlike in the past when it is made oil.
