Directions regarding what type of batteries are ridiculous. 1.5V could be. AA, AAA or 1.5v N . This safe uses AAA (4). I do like the safe but setting day, time and year did work without set off the alarm. Lucky I did not need the option.

The only complaint I would have is that the instructions do not indicate where the "reset button" is for setting your passcode up. Other than that, I LOVE IT!!! I got the white and it totally blends in with my shelving in my closet.

It is a nice safe, the only criticism is difficulty in the instructions as I couldn’t set the date or figure out why 2 passwords but it’s a good value.

    • The Directions are Terrible !!!!

The directions for setting up the combination need to be made clearer.. Still trying to figure it out... The Manual is just a piece of paper that is maybe the directions for all of the Diosmio safes... The emergency keys I understood but the MASTER KEY??? there is no master key! Thats actually the HANDLE according to the diagram that came with the safe... ( user Manual ). But eventually it says Master key is the ( KNOB). The video is incorrect ..its 4 AA batteries not AAA as the girl in video says. Once set up is complete it works well and worth the $$.... ... show more

    • Low quality, appears to be "used" with scratches on top and front. Instructions are worthless.

As mentioned in other reviews, the instructions are worthless. I was eventually able to "set" my code to open without using keys, after many, many attempts. I was never able to set the date on the display. Again, worthless instructions. I am sure there are better options out there. I will keep it but not impressed. ... show more
