Brings back nostalgia lol. Had these when younger. Perfect label and can and size! Only thing I don't like about these is the bottom. I've seen these products with screw off lids that even if you pick up and examine, you'll Never realize not real thing. The bottom is VERY obviously removable. The point is to look EXACTLY like the real thing and for the most part it sure does!! But if someone picks up and inspects they will immediately know it's a fake and clearly see how to remove bottom. ... show more

    • Great - but here’s some advice

This looks great as long as no one looks at the bottom of the can. If you really need a great hiding spot that can trick even under scrutiny, I have a few suggestions. First of all you want it to feel weighted. If someone picks it up & it doesn’t feel heavy like a can of vegetables they will know something is off. So I put some heavy items inside. I added scale weights wrapped in paper towels. That added weight with the paper towels keep them from clinking around. Secondly, I let dust settle on the top of the can. That makes it look like an old can you haven’t gotten around to. Make sure not to leave fingerprints in the dust once it’s accumulated on the can. You don’t want the can to look like it’s been recently handled. So lift from the side. Mine looks & feels like a legit old can of corn. You don’t want any piggies snuffling around. I got these to give to my sisters and cannot wait to see them unwrap these at Christmas. They really do look like cans until you see the hatch at the bottom. With a couple of extra goodies inside to give it a realistic weight, I really feel like they'll be asking "who got me a can of corn?"

My daughter showed me a real Del Monte can and the fake one, I couldn't tell the difference. It's really cute but the only issue is the cover on the bottom is really loose. It does lock but it also unlocks easily. I would pass on this and find something with a better lock.
