To start with, I hope the product is better than the box they were put into. I picked up off the front porch, went inside house to unbox and the box literally came apart with the dishes all over the floor. I will vouch that they seem unbreakable, as the way these poured out of the box on to my floor, most dishes would be broken. The box was pretty mangled. I just hope the dishes are better, but presentation is a big part of a product and that was a failure. The dishes themselves seem OK. They look decent, but the plates look like upside down frisbees. People comment the cups are small, which they are but I knew that they were 12oz cups, so I expected it. The smaller dishes for sauces and such, seem a bit small, but are great for small amounts of sauce, ketchup, etc... I was hoping to use them for salsa, but way too small. The colors are nice and overall quality seems to be good. Time will tell. ... show more

I picked up this 40-piece wheat straw dinnerware set for everyday use, and honestly it makes a lot of sense for apartments, families, dorms, RVs, or anyone tired of constantly worrying about breaking dishes. The first thing I noticed was how lightweight everything is. The plates, bowls, and cups are much easier to handle than traditional ceramic dishes, which actually becomes really convenient for daily use, especially when carrying multiple items or loading the dishwasher. The material has a slightly matte texture that feels different from regular plastic. It doesn’t feel flimsy or disposable, and the wheat straw blend gives it a softer, more modern appearance compared to shiny cheap plastic dishware. The black color also helps it look cleaner and more elevated than most budget dinnerware sets. Durability is a major advantage here. These handle drops and rougher use much better than ceramic or porcelain. They’re marketed as unbreakable, and while I probably wouldn’t intentionally abuse them, they definitely feel far less fragile than traditional dishes.
