Jacy DIMAR garden This is not how you interact with customers, especially trying to guilt trip them into doing something. Original: I was excited to receive this and set it up. After working more than 2 hours trying to put the set together as according to the instructions, we realized that there were many manufacturing problems such as threaded socket for the bolts was loose causing the bolt to simply turn the entire socket instead of tighten down, Bolt though holes on side panels that allowed the bolt head to completely pass through. Request a refund for these problems, which they accepted but you have to pay for the shipping, which would be about the same price for this set! When you contact the “24/7” customer service email provided about these issues and wanting them to cover shipping since they issues were manufacturing issues, they won’t respond back.

...definately a challenge to assemble. Delivered in one box safely. It took approximately 2-1/2 hours to complete. I had 3 screws leftover when completed. Came with directions, and somewhat helpful, but does require lego building type mechanical knowledge. An allen L shaped wrench included. A lot to digress and figure out that is not included in directions. I assembled 5 pcs of table first. The key is to assemble screws loose and then go back and tighten so that all 4 legs evenly adjust to touch floor. Same with chairs. There is a method of assembling 4 components of chairs not explained in directions. First the components are not labeled left or right or seat. The backrest is obvious. Take caution to place curved leg to the rear of chair. A better indicator. I assembled the backrest last on each chair. I screwed top 2 screws of backrest first loosely, then press in bottom portion and tighten with 2 screws. It is a very tight fit. Then go back to top and tighten those 2 screws. Essentially squeezing in the sides of each chair against the backrest. Note that 2 top screws will only be visible from outside of chairs.

I got these for my backyard patio area. I live in the rainy northwest so they will have to hold up to the weather. They are a good, solid product and arrived quickly. They were also pretty easy to put together.

I am pretty good at assembling things. Lots of patience and dedicated to the challenge but this assembly was difficult. I did the table first and one screw wouldn’t match-up but it is sturdy and no one will be sitting on it I hope. The chairs have left and right side legs...who knew? You need to find the pair that matches. I did get all the screws in the chair after an abrasion or two, but it is sturdy and pretty comfy. The second chair got put-off until tomorrow when I have more stamina and time. I finally found the assembly diagram which helped slightly (when to use a shorter screw) but it also says that 2 or more people are needed for assembly! I would not recommend that at all unless you like conflict, stress and arguments. Otherwise, it is a nice set for the price.

I just put my set together alone and it took me about 1hr and some change. It was not the best instructions for it only had pictures and you had to basically figure things out on your own. Sometimes you will notice the piece does not line up with the holes, just switch with another piece and it will be fine. You have to actually start assembling it to get what I am saying. My hands hurt because the screw key that is included will start to hurt your fingers because its so many screws to get in with a small key screw. It seems sturdy to me, but its not 100% Hassell free with assembly. If they would make it a little easier then this could be a great product. Also one of the holes on my chair is not screwing correctly, its faulty. I wont go thru the Hassell sending this back since its not that big of a deal so just left it and made sure the other screws were in good shape.
