I used to have cable TV in my bedroom. The cable company’s box would constantly give me the time, whether or not I was watching TV. I got rid of the cable box in my room and now use the TV in there just for streaming. So up until today, if I wanted to know what time it was, I would have to look at my phone. I needed a simple and clear clock that I could place next to the TV and be able to tell the time while I am watching TV I decided on this one because it also gives me temperature and humidity level. I just received this a little while ago and I already installed it. I must say, it is a very attractive and well designed clock. And for the affordable price, I could not pass it up. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it keeps accurate time. You see, I already removed my cable box from the bedroom and I am fighting with the cable company about a serious issue. It looks like I may be getting rid of the cable company once and for all and just stick to streaming. So I am going to be in the market for a second clock to put by the TV cabinet in the living room!.

I was looking for a simple clock with temperature and humidity display. Seems all the others with those features had a mirrored face, which I don't like at all. When I look at a clock I don't want to see me - LOL This one looked nice and had the features I wanted at a good price. The clock works well, but there does seem to be a glitch with some, where the lowest brightness setting (L1 which is supposed to be 2%), doesn't work. The next level up (L2 at 10%) works fine, and is not too bright for my bedroom, but I was curious to see the dimmer setting. I contacted JALL support at the email address provided, and they responded within 24 hours with some suggestions to check and remedy the issue. I tried their suggestions but it did not resolve the issue. I contacted them again and they apologized for the issue and offered to send me a replacement unit at no extra charge, and to keep the one I had already received. The replacement arrived in a few days, but it also had the L1 issue. I contacted them and they apologized again, acknowledged that some units had that issue, and offered to refund my purchase price. I was quite impressed by their replies and continued concern for my satisfaction. I told them I did not want the refund. I've now received 2 clocks for the price of one, and the L1 brightness issue was only a minor inconvenience. These folks are great to deal with. They are responsive, personable, polite, and have proven they truly care about customer satisfaction. Technically I give four stars for the clock, and 5 stars for JALL!

Clean design, adjustable brightness, legible time, temperature and relative humidity. 12 or 24 hour time, Fahrenheit or Celsius temperature, easy to switch from one to the other -- just a very nice clock.

I like look of the face of the clock, looks like its all made of wood. Easy to operate in the dark, just feel for the last 3 buttons with your fingers. Can only store 3 alarms so maybe not the best for those with varying schedules. The wheel to change the brightness is always active so i am always accidentally turning it to its lowest brightness when adjusting settings but otherwise a really good clock.

I've had this alarm clock for a couple of years now and have had zero problems. The display brightness level adjustment has a suitable range of brightness levels. The alarm has 5 volume so I can adjust it to the volume it takes to wake me without waking everyone else in the house. It also gives the option for a Mon-Sun, Mon-Fri or Every Day alarm option. The controls are easy to understand and it also holds it settings during power outages thanks to it's battery backup. The unit is very stable on the nightstand and has a unique look. This is probably the best alarm clock i've owned so I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again.

BLUF: As long as you aren't looking for an alarm to wake you up, I can recommend this, as everything else seemed to work well. This is a great looking clock, and it might fit your needs, as long as you don't need the alarm to wake you up. If you are a very light sleeper, then it might be able to wake you up. I am not, I usually sleep pretty hard. I tested the alarm to make sure that it went off, and it did. So I set two (of the three) alarms ten minutes apart, set a backup alarm on my phone for five minutes after the second alarm, and went to sleep. The next morning I was awoken by the alarm on my cell phone, with no recollection of either of the other alarms going off. When I got a chance I measured, and the alarm was 32" (812.8 mm) from my head, a few inches closer than my phone was. No one else in the house heard the clock's alarms either. Since I purchased it as a bedroom alarm clock, with the primary job of waking me up on time, it failed, and I returned it.

I like the adjustable brightness, I like how you change the digits with the wheel, I like that it's loud, I like that it's not very large, I like the build quality. I'm still getting used to the alarm button locations, they aren't the easiest to find when you wake up and are trying to shut it off. I found out by trial that there is a snooze, if you press the alarm button once (when the alarm sounds), it goes into a 9 minute snooze. Another quirk is that I have to hold the alarm button down to know what the set time is (in case I forget what it's set to).
