I got this to replace a kitchen chair, as I'm a larger person and have had wooden chairs collapse under me. this one is rated for 400 lbs. I weigh about 350. It rolls nicely and spins, but the pneumatic seat lifter won't stay at the full height. Sometimes it drops suddenly while I'm sitting on it. The seat and padding are comfortable, but the faux leather attracts cat claws, as my wife and daughter insist on having cats, and many tiny punctures appeared in under a week. They did get a car seat cover to go over the seat which seems to be working to protect the seat so far. I had hoped to find a task chair with a solid seat of fiberglass or plastic, but apparently no one makes such a thing. I am hoping to find some item that will perhaps clamp onto the height rod to hold it at the full height and no longer adjust, or a way to screw it in place. Update! The seller apparently reads these reviews and kindly offered me a replacement chair instead of just the central adjustment cylinder to hold the seat up. The second chair arrived today, and the height adjustment seems to be working OK so far, but there was another issue. Only three of the four seat mounting plate holes matched closely enough with the screw threads in the bottom of the seat itself. It would seem to me that some part aligning the threaded inserts in the seat during manufacturing may have moved at some point. This would seem to be the left screw at the back of the chair when looking at it from the bottom at the back side. This will be easy enough to fix once I can get to my Dremel kit or a large rat tail file to slightly widen the hole in the mounting plate on that side. On the first chair all the mounting holes lined up perfectly.

I use this for work 2 days a week and it works great for that. It looks very nice in a small office off our kitchen. I could’ve gotten a more comfortable ergonomic chair but they don’t look as nice. I’m 5’10” and 195 lbs and the padding on the seat and arm rests is good enough. Nice soft suede like material. Overall a good purchase I would recommend.

This product looks good in the photos and decent in person, but it has structurally failed in every way: - the chairs arm literally broke off w normal use. - The padding broke down very quickly on the arm, rests and seat. - The pump jack that determines the height of the seat, broke down quickly, and now the seat just slowly lowers as you’re sitting in it. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Ok so when I initially received my order it was missing a piece to put the chair together however I messaged the seller and received a replacement within a week. It took me some time to get used to this chair because I’m coming from a velvet plush chair and the seat was a little too hard for me but now I’m all set. Super easy to assemble. Chair looks phenomenal. A lot of the reviews said it was very uncomfortable.. I sat in it immediately after putting it together. Feels perfectly fine. Not a TON of padding but it’s no where near what the other reviews say about it being extremely uncomfortable. Sure, if you sat in it for 8 hours I’m sure your buns would eventually get tired. But looking at what the chair is you get what you get. If you want a lazy boy super padded chair then go buy that. It looks great. Feels great. SHIPPED 5 days earlier than original estimated date! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This is a very nice chair for the money. The material feels nice if not a little cheap. I don't have high expectations for durability. It was easy to assemble. But, we were surprise by one thing. the back is hard mounted to the seat, so the back does not recline apart from the seat. You can only tilt the whole chair a limited amount, so not as much flexibility as others.
