Had this bed for a month so far and LOVE it! Sure it wiggles and squeaks a bit, but once settled, it's solid. Biggest complaint is the ladder: square rungs are painful. I put pool noodles around them and that does well, but the noodles are falling apart after only a few weeks. Still trying to find a better solution for it. The desk space is spacious, though it could stand for a little more width. Another 2-3 inches would be perfect. Assembly was very straight-forward, least until I tried to open a bag of parts and used too much strength and flung the parts EVERYWHERE (the plastic C-clips). Pro-tip: Cut the bags open carefully. Do not rip the bags open. Took me a few hours to get it together, but SO happy once it was. No more sleeping on the floor. ... show more

I've had this bed well past the warranty I believe, nothing has gone wrong. There is a slight creaking noise when two or more legs are bound or obstructed but this is the case with metal or wooden beds. Desk is great.

Great value and overall quality. Assembly was easy with two people. This is a metal frame and will move given how top heavy it is when some one gets in it. Secure it to a wall at two points and it will be super solid. I mounted some 1x3 wood to the wall studs and drilled holes in the upper bed rails on the underside and mounted with lag bolts....shaking is a non-issue after that. ... show more

Even bolted to the wall this bed wiggles like crazy! It’s for my daughter and she doesn’t mind but I wouldn’t recommend for an older teen or younger child! My daughter is a tween so it’s perfect for her now but when she gets older I will probably have to get rid of it.

Arrived complete and well packaged. Purchased for my son. He’s had it for more than 6 months. Has held up well. My son weighs 160lbs and the frame hasn’t bent. This bed has freed up so much space in her room and she loves having a desk to do her homework. My daughter (10 years old) is tall for her age but has plenty of room to sleep comfortably. Only downside is the metal bars for the ladder hurt her feet. Definitely great buy for the price.

It was quite easy to assemble. I think this was due to pass complaints that parts were not identified. All parts are now ID. My 12 year and 14 years old help me with pulling parts and some lifting. You can use power tool on some part of the assembly to make it easier. Surprised no parts were missing or mis-identified. We did read instructions ahead to make sure we have correct parts before assembling. Recommend not to tighten everything until the end. Also the cross beams will fit into their slots, don't force it. Use the hollow area to make the bar fit. When Installing the plastic round locks, bend them open first as shown so it will be easier on your finger snapping them into place. I needed help from my older son to spot and help hold while I assembly the big pieces together. Overall it took us about 2 hrs to complete the assembly. Need to buy some anchors the unit to the wall because it does move. This is a good product overall. Good Luck. ... show more
