My daughter wanted her room redone for her birthday. She has a small room and a needed a desk, so a loft bed was perfect! It is wobbly but that’s expected since the legs are so skinny. As others have said the ladder bars hurt your feet, but pipe foam is the perfect fit! I would not anchor this to the wall with how wobbly it can get when making the bed. It would rip the wall, but it’s sturdy enough to not topple over. If it does then your kid is horse playing. I’m 144lbs and I get up there just fine. We removed the fan on the ceiling and just put a light in its place, since the room is small, but we did anchor a table top fan to the wall for circulation and it works great. She loves the desk at the bottom! It was not hard to put together with 2 people and maybe took us an hour and half to do. Instructions were easy to follow. Overall great bed! I’m knocking this review down one start because the stair/desk area can only go on one side. So I had to improvise to make these work in my space. Everything was easy to assemble. I’m an average strength smaller woman and had no problems putting this together by myself. Instructions were easy to follow. One piece came damaged, but I just used a large mallet and block to reshape it instead of sending in for a replacement. For the price you can’t beat it. I love the full size instead of twin just makes it more exciting. I also really like the desk feature. It adds a lot of structural stability. My solution is drilling into the metal and using some washers to attach bolts that don’t have pre drilled washers set in. ... show more

So my number one concern with a bed like this from Amazon was the quality and ease of assembly. It was super easy to build. My 9 year old son and I built it in about 2 hours. It’s good construction but it does wobble quite a bit. I bought 1.5” U brackets and anchored it to the wall and it is absolutely solid and does not move at all. Instructions were great and it’s very sturdy material. Wish the ladder was slanted however it gets the job done. Space saver and my son loves it! This was on sale at the time of purchase and we have no regrets.

Top rail needs to be welded better! It did come apart at the seems. Overall good bed for the price that I paid of $150 but that top rail is a safety concern. Even with kids being "aware" not to lean on it and my 9 year old does not play in the bed it still broke.

This bed frame was easy to assemble with clear directions. It's also pretty light weight so I was able to maneuver it easily. Does not wobble at all, and made a perfect play area for my 5 year old. 10/10 would buy again.

Bought the bed for my 6 year old. He loves that he has a space to play underneath! Seems sturdy and doesn't make a lot of noise as he climbs in. I only gave it 4 stars because the ladder rungs could be better so it's a flat bar to step on rather than a small square beam. I also had trouble finding a mattress that was thin enough but would still fill the area. The one we ended up getting was like 3 to 4 inches too small length and width wise. We shoved a pillow down the side next to the ladder, so it doesn't move. Works fine for us since he has a giant teddy bear to help with the gap on the length side. ... show more

I definitely recommend assembling this with two people, makes it much easier. With the help of my friend we assembled it pretty quickly, the instructions were extremely easy to follow.
