I really like my stools. They are exactly as described, a smooth tin metal with a wooden seat. The stools took some minor assembly and included screws and key of which were simple to put together. I like the fact that you can leave the back off of the stools if you wish and they will still look great. The wood seat is a little rough however and I could see how a snag on clothing would be a concern however at the price, I am sure you could pick a sealer of some sort up at a hobby store and fix that issue. Stools are sturdy and look appropriate to the picture. I chose the copper color and am very pleased with it. I was having a hard time deciding between that and the bronze and I am definitely glad I got the copper. At a glance it looks almost black but still maintains an aged look that is more of a dark brown and definitely NOT BLACK so if you are looking for black, the this color isn't for you. Again, at the price and the material the stools are made of, you could probably paint them whatever color you wanted and it still look wonderful. These bar stool chairs were beautiful and easy to assemble. Unfortunately, I had to return these because I bought them before measuring the height of my counter and these bar stools were too high for what they were needed for. Nonetheless, an amazing product that adds the perfect touch of industrial with a bit of farmhouse due to the wood. The only issue I can comment on was the dimension of the actual seat, although it was comfortable, it was a bit too small for me and may be for bottom-curvy women (aka if you have a booty LOL). ... show more

These came boxed well and assembly was a breeze. You just attach the backs with four screws on each stool. The legs have rubber feet, great for my hardwoods, and the stools feel extremely sturdy. And they do look great in my kitchen. The cons for me- the seat is very small. Which is fine for my kids now, but I can’t imagine sitting here or any other adult camping out on one to talk in my kitchen. The back of one stool has these small red squiggly lines that almost look like sharpie. But it’s underneath the clear finish on the metal. So I can’t scrap or clean it off. I’m likely going to contact the manufacturer because it looks like my kids have colored on one already and I want them to at least start perfect. And finally, the wooden seats feel rough. Like they’ll need to be really paid attention to or they’ll take a beating quickly. I’m debating buying a sealant for them to be able to easily clean any spills with cleaner and not worry about the wood or stain being harmed. ... show more

These are a cute rustic type of bar stool. Very tall so make sure you do your measurements right! That way they will fit under your bar counter. This set is worth the money and we have enjoyed them at our house! Not 100% comfortable but works for a spot to sit and enjoy some quick lunch. I will sat that they're not very wide. So if you struggle with weight or feel blessed to have a curvy booty than these might not be for you! The seats are small. ... show more

I am in rental so I don't want to spend a bunch of money on furniture. However, I have a bar style kitchen counter and needed something to put there. On the upside these chairs look really nice and fit perfectly at just the right height. The legs have a decent quality rubber on them that is easy to drag across the wood floor and doesn't make any annoying noises. On the downside the seat is so small! I knew it was on the small side but in person it is just tiny. 12" by 12" is very small for an adult to sit on. It's possible but only for a short period. No adult sized person is going to get comfortable on these. If you have larger sized people visiting they will NOT be able to sit on these which could cause an awkward conversation. However, for the price they're a decent temporary option if you need to make a bar style kitchen look "right". If you expect most of your guests are going to be on the thinner side it will be fine. ... show more
