Although I don't use this all the time it's great for getting higher fake gimbal shots or very low cinematic shots without having to bend down super low. Can't wait to use it for more projects. It doesn't add much weight to your rig and feels well built.

I would give this extension handle a 5 star rating if they had included a rubber stop gasket on the end that screws into the gimbal. I purchased this as an extension handle for my Zhiyun Crane 3 LAB gimbal. It works perfectly and doesn't add much weight to the system. But I would add a rubber gasket to the male end that screws into the gimbal handle to snug it up tightly without worrying about it coming loose without over tightening it. This gimbal extension is definitely sturdy and high quality but I was surprised that it was completely hollow and the male threading is pretty shallow which made me question it’s strength but so far it hasn’t failed me and is a great addition to my filming tools.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this piece. I had read the good reviews but still, when I touched it and tested it, I decided to buy another one to stack them up for a longer pole. They are so light and strong that I can carry them on shoots without adding hardly any weight. the look so well with my SJI RS2. People are constantly bumping into us at weddings (wedding videographers) And this extension tube attached to the ronin makes it easy to get above the crowd! Perfect for filming those moments on the dance floor when everyone is in a circle but you can’t quite get in there, get UP there. Perfect way to make it happen.
