These shorts are comfortable and true to size. The navy color is very nice, and the pocket is just the right size for a phone (don't plan on walking with a phone, though - it feels like the shorts will pull down or stretch). However, I was looking for shorts to wear with cropped athletic tanks and these shorts are not as high waisted as the pictures would suggest. I also notice that the hem of the shorts is longer in the front than in the back, creating an unflattering shape on my body type. On the whole, they feel lower in quality than other CRZ Yoga shorts I own.

I wear these to run in and they are really comfortable. The pocket fits my iPhone 13 comfortably and the elastic waist band is substantial enough that they don’t fall down as I run with my phone in my pocket.

I am a lulu girl through and through. I never think “lulu dupes” are ever as good as people make them seem. BUT- these shorts are BOMB!!!! They are the closest shorts I’ve had that are ACTUALLY like lulu shorts. I was so happy when I got my first pair that I immediately bought two more pairs. I usually wear a 4/6 in lulu but I just had a baby so now I’m a 6/8 in lulu and I ordered a medium. I’m 5’5 135lbs. They fit true to size and were perfect. After having my baby, I don’t want booty shorts like the lulu 2 inch shorts I have, so I was struggling to find a good length pair of shorts. These are the PERFECT length! Not too long but not short either! Just long enough to cover my butt but not look like a grandma. They also passed the sweat test. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I may no longer buy lulu shorts after getting these!!

The shorts run small—consider sizing up for the best fit. The high-rise waist is flattering; however, the liner is ill-fitted, and the fabric on the liner seam is uncomfortable, so I returned them. If you are already a fan of more well-known brands, I'd pass on these. But if you just need a pair of cheaper workout shorts, these might be worth a try.
