I thought perhaps that these were long enough to be used as a double dollar as my dog keeps getting off of her leash but it's length is more of an extender. If you're looking for an extra bit of leash than this will work for those purposes, as it's a well made product.

The spring in the hook of these safety clips is too weak. As a result they do not stay hooked onto my dog's collar and they fell off THREE times in a 1 hour time span.

This strap to connect a harness to a collar, etc., is a simple way to prevent a dog from backing out of their harness and leash (especially important for easily scared dogs, newly adopted pups, etc.). Similarly it could be used to be a second connection from leash to collar or leash to harness, just as a backup should a leash ever fail. These are pretty simple construction, and on my small hound there was more than enough length, and on my bigger hound it was long enough to be comfortable, but perhaps on a dan or similarly giant breed, you might want to measure the distance bt connections to ensure this will be big enough. ... show more
