    • Battery dies frequently
Not pleased with this purchase. I use these for all lamps in my house. Bought different brands. This is my lease favorite one. It works ok at first. Button is not as responsive as I'd like. Then battery dies quickly and becomes less responsive. After 1 month I notice it isn't as responsive but works ok. After a couple months it starts to get annoying but it still works. By 3 months its to frustrating and I replace it. The first time I thought the button was breaking but then I replaced battery and it work well again. For a short while. I wish at least it would go from working to not working and not fade out like it does. Its not the batteries because other brands I've bought I have never replaced once. My guess is its cheap electrical causing more of a draw on battery. I even replaced them with Duracell batteries so its not the batteries fault, and have gone through so many already. I have to replace every 3 months and I haven't replaced any of the others ones I bought for other lamps. And I use them all an equal amount. I have Tiffany lamps in my house and put remotes on wall by the light switch and use them like you would use a light switch. I always turn on all my Tiffany lamps when I'm home. It gives a great ambiance. I recommend it. This is by far my least favorite of all the wireless remotes for outlets I have purchased. The ones I bought at home depot work great. And I'm sure there plenty of good ones on here too. Just don't buy this one. ... show more

    • Mom is overjoyed...
Installed this on the power line for an 8ft LED tube wall light fixture in my mom's bedroom. She was irritated by having to get up to turn it on or off since it was plugged into a switched outlet and the wall switch was far from her bed if she got up in the dead of night. That also caused it to be an aggravation when going to bed. Now she can just click the remote to turn that fixture on or off, whether she has gotten up, or is just going to bed, and the light obeys!!! ... show more

Purchased back on August 6th. Today, October 27th it quit working. I’m not able to turn on or off the switch via the remote control. Very disappointed in that it practically only lasted three months with dry little usage. Will replace it with a different brand and hope it lasts longer than three months. ... show more

    • Reliable for my monitor and Mac Mini M1
When the Monitor goes to sleep my Mac Mini M1 cannot wake it unless I physically unplug the monitor. But the plug is inside the desk and not accessible. This DEWENWILS Remote Control comes to the rescue! While the plug is a little large (like other remote plugs to house the remote electronics), it does feel durable and comes with a 'power light' that was handy knowing that the cable was getting power when I was setting it all up inside my desk. I keep the remote in my desk drawer and can now simply turn the power off/on whenever I need the monitor to establish a new connection to the Mac after waking. ... show more

The switch is quite small so unobtrusive, nice sound when it turns on or off, and low price. Have used it for over a month now and it is as reliable as a wired switch. Anticipating that someone would want to know about range, I experimented and could turn on the track light from anywhere on the same floor with a relatively open floor plan but including NOT line of sight (probably about 40' max tested). I really like this device, no wiring or extra work, just Oleg it in! Works great and saves me time with the remote start/stop. I had a garage heater the I had to plug to turn on or unplug for off, and I can’t really bend well, so this is a back saver for me. Just plug it in once the use the remote. No more bending and stooping!!! I plan to buy more for Christmas decorations! Buy it without reservation; it works great!! ... show more

Easy to use. But, 50ft range maximum. Not 100. And that's if you've got a clear shot. It doesn't work from the kitchen out to the back yard unless I've got s clear shot from the window. That is somewhat disappointing, but also not a big deal for me because of what I am using it for.

    • SPORADIC AT BEST! DON'T BUY!
The remotes work sporadically even when within 8 to 12 feet of receivers. Have to press "ON" a bunch of times before outlet receiver turns ON! I've re-paired the remotes a few times and they are no better. I have other brand remote controlled outlet adapters and they work perfect. This is not an RF interference issue. It is a remote or receiver device issue with this brand. I bought 3 of these. They all do the same thing. Will look for another brand. ... show more
