Very happy with everything about the unit so far. That said, just be sure to only have one (1) source of power feeding into it at a time. As manufactured, it is possible for the unit to be attached to a 12V car battery at the same time a 20V tool battery is inserted. As far as I could tell there is just one single line in the instructions - on Pg. 10 - which lets you know what a truly terrible idea that would be. Were I DeWalt, I would have some sort of physical lock-out which prevents this from happening.     • Wanted to love it, but malfunctioned in less than two weeks

As the title says, I really wanted to like this product and keep it for emergency use if the power goes out, however within two weeks from when I received it, the inverter started acting up. The USB ports kept working but the outlets stopped working as you can see in the picture. The inverter has no way of being reset as the outlets don’t work. The only solution is to get a replacement, which is pretty poor design quality, especially for Dewalt. If ever they add a reset button then I’ll reconsider getting one again. But for now, one star is the most this product deserves. ... show more

Used at tailgates all year, was able to run a tv, satellite, and crock pot off boat battery. If only running tv and satellite was able to use dewalt battery for four hours. Light weight and very versatile.
