I've had it for a few months and used it to jump my car 3 times and to top off my tire air. Works great and can handle my V-6 engine very easily. The cables are long enough to be able to sit the unit about anywhere in the engine compartment. I like the tire air pump a lot; makes a secure connection to the tire stem and pumps in air quickly for a portable unit. But the air pump's attached hose connector is pretty much dedicated to filling tires, which makes it work very well for adding air to tires but probably not much else. The displays are good and the controls are easy to operate. I have not tries out the other features (power converter, alternator tester, etc.), but there are a lot of them for a small-ish unit (easily stores in the trunk). It's not particularly heavy for what it is and seems to hold a charge very well. A bit pricey but works very well, has been very dependable (so far, less than a year) and I very much like the ability to be able to jump my car without any hellp (I had a lot of trouble with a bad car battery). It has probably already paid for itself.

We traveled the US and Mexico in our camper van for the past year and used this many times. In Baja, we had to air down many times and the Dewalt never let us down when airing back up. Great and necessary item when traveling dirt roads and sandy beaches when airing down is needed.

I've had this for almost a year now, and I am very impressed. I've only jumped one car, with no issues, but I've used the air compressor several times. The manual states that the battery is sufficient for 3 out of 4 tires, but I have refilled all 4 of mine every time with a quarter to a half charge of battery left over. The screw-in air hose and the programmable pressure setting make this ideal for drivers who may be less mechanically inclined.

Works great i already had to use the compressor to fill up a low tire. You will have to buy a wall charger, and I also bought the car charger. I put them in a small pouch and zip tied it to the handle to keep up with them.

I can not recommend you buy this product. I liked the idea of the added tire inflation and it was a Dewalt so I trusted it. I had it six months and had the opportunity to use it to assist someone needing to be jumped. I topped it off just like Dewalt suggested and it showed a full charge. It died like a big dog when I tried to jump the car. The car just turned over once or twice and the voltage dropped to 3 or 4 volts, and that was that. Highly embarrassing since I was being the hero in mask and cape and saving the day. Dewalt WAS very responsive to the warranty inquiry and sent me to Baccustic for service ... they forwarded the may ticket to Baccustic and Baccustic immediately replied, gave me an RMA to ship. back to them on their dime. Very fast response times. Only thing is, now I have zero confidence in the Dewalt product. It's like you carry a rifle in bear country to protect you from bears, a bear comes charging at you, at it misfires. I can't trust a product that I don't have 100 % confidence it will work when I need it. So ..... I bought a Close Jump-N-Carry JNC770R. It's a professional grade jump box (used by lots of mechanics) and cost less than $20 more than the Dewalt. It does not inflate tires, it only jumps dead batteries. I have a compressor to pump up tires (at home at least) what I really need is a jump box that works flawlessly EVERY TIME. Do your self a favor and take a look at the Clore Jump-N-Carry 7NC770R. They have a smaller box that is actually less than the Dewalt, but I want something that I know is gonna work. Did I mention I wanted something that had to be reliable every time :).

I have already used this by inflating my tires. It screws on to the valve stem. You push the air button. Set the desired psi and hit air. It inflates to the correct amount and shuts off. When you connect it and push air it will tell you the current air pressure and inflates to the amount indicated. The only thing I don't like is it doesn't come with a plug to charge the unit. It says you can use any standard 110 extension cord but the one I tried didn't work apparently as the display is supposed to light up showing the current voltage/charge and indicate it is charging. The extension cord I have has the 3 holes so maybe I need to use a smaller one so it will fit more flushly as there isn't much space for the plug under the cover. I haven't used the other features yet. I wanted to buy it to keep it in my vehicle in the case of an emergency. It is heavy but not so much that it is hard to lift in my opinion. I have bought the DB Power battery jumper before and it is small, light and compact but it doesn't have the air inflation feature. It worked great for 2 years but now it has stopped working so I thought I would try this Dewalt.

We bought this because we were having battery issues with my SUV. It has saved our butt's sooo many times. Has a bright light. Air compressor works great(used on Suburban tires). Also has the ports to charge USB. We lo e it one of the best purchases we've made!
