1.0 out of 5 stars | Poor Design!
Air dump valve on the bottom of the unit was damaged during transit. Valve is positioned in a precarious spot for a portable unit...allowing almost zero clearance while rolling to the job site. I sent it back and ordered the 30 gallon online from Home Depot(not available in store). The price difference was less than $100, and the sound difference was negligible, for a far superior compressor.

5.0 out of 5 stars | Easy to use, ready to go, and takes up very little space.
I purchase this unit for sandblasting, it works perfectly. I was sandblasting with about 110 pounds air pressure and the compressor was able to keep up. Love it hope you get a lotOf use out of it in the future. Wish anyone advise this unit the very best. I am very satisfied

4.0 out of 5 stars | great comp..
Came in with damaged plastics got a discount because they where no longer in stock only reason for the star rating Update been using for over a year no trouble even though the plastics where cracked when I received compressor the plastics are still holding on and only issue I have gotten out of the compressor is it started to leak after about 6 months and its not a bad leak but just turn it off when not needed so your electric bill don't climb high from on and off every hour still happy with it

2.0 out of 5 stars | Not very dependable andHard to get repairs if purchased from Amazon
Less than 3 months after purchase the regulator failed and started blowing out air out of the adjustment handle under extreme pressure. This occurred in the middle of the night sometime and when I walked outside I heard the compressor just running to try to keep up to the leak. The Regulator is $100 which is more than a fourth of the cost of the compressor. It is supposed to be under warrantee, but all local DeWalt dealers answer. “If you bought it from Amazon we don’t fix it.” Looks like the closes repair facility that “Might” fix it is about 100 miles away and reading the documents that came with it I don’t expect that they will just send me the part. I will check with them when they are open.

5.0 out of 5 stars | Best air tank I've ever owned!
I purchased this product February 8, 2009 and have been using it ever since! I can't even begin to tell you the hell I've put this tank through?! I've walked it up countless stairs and used it for anything from airing up a basketball to shooting out frame nails. The ONLY problem I've ever had with it was when the gauges finally gave up. That was after a few years! I simply removed the nice little face and added my own touch to it. Granted, it doesn't look nearly as good now as it once did, but I know exactly what my pressure is! It's endured countless falls, scrapes, and dings, but it still goes! I honestly wish I could give it more stars!

1.0 out of 5 stars | Think hard on this purchase
Bought this unit about 3 years ago used very lightly when it just stopped sent to “dewalt certified repair center” the unit came back (8 weeks later) fixed but looked like it had aged 10 years in their care. At a cost of $150. Oh the unit was fixed but 5 uses later it’s not working again. Now I’m deciding do I attempt another repair or cut loss and buy another brand.

4.0 out of 5 stars | Could Use A Couple of Improvements
A good compressor with a couple of glaring weaknesses. A rugged compressor.... large capacity tank and better than average CFM at respectable pressure. Cheap drain valve at the bottom of the tank to drain water that collects under pressure. Cheap gauges... My tank pressure gauge failed in a week. Added my own drain valve..... a pity Dewalt didn't use a good one.

3.0 out of 5 stars | Works. Received damaged.
Product works; builds air pressure quickly and holds it. Nice design for allowing easy movement in my shop, though the wheels are of poor quality. The shroud covering motor was damaged in shipment, resulting in piece of plastic being busted off the shroud and the shroud not being fully attached. The damage has no effect on the function of the air compressor and I reattached the shroud, but I would expect to receive a new product in undamaged condition. Delivery took three days rather than the guaranteed Prime shipping of two days. Amazon extended my Prime membership by one month due to not meeting the shipment guarantee.
