  • AMAZING OFFICE CHAIR
Color: Brown
Although we decided to go with a different chair the chair was beautiful after we put together and put up against the desk. The chair was very comfortable, had a high back, it definitely had lumbar support and the fact the arms fold up was a nice touch. We were hesitant to buy and try it due to the lack of reviews and the previous photo made the chair look orange. The chair is a beautiful cognac brown and the leather material is sturdy and well made. We returned it simply because we didn't like the brown chair up against a brown desk. If our desk was a different color we would have kept it. Its a great buy for the price for someone who is considering buying and it came extremely fast. ... show more

  • Great Chair, adjustment is lacking and needs better instruction.
Color: Brown
These chairs were a bargain. They are comfortable and provide great support. The recline function is non-existent and not very good. Overall a 4 out of 5.

  • Very comfortable.
Color: Brown
Very comfortable chair; it’s handsome too, and relatively easy to build.

  • Decent Chair for Price
Color: Brown
It was easy to assemble (but the instructions were hiding within one section inside the plastic!). It supports a heavier person and is pretty comfy and cushiony. For the price, it’s a good chair!

  • The good and bad
Color: Black
the good -the chair was fairly easy to assemble. The bad- the handle to adjust the spring for it to tilt back is located in a bad spot. You have to get off the chair to turn it. Even with the tension backed off the full travel it still has to have constant pressure to lay back.

  • Leans forward if a wheel isn't placed right
Color: Brown
I'm sure there are better options out there. The material looks nice from a distance...up close it is obviously cheap pleather. The seat cushion compresses and doesn't rebound so after just a couple of weeks there are permanent keister marks. Also, if one of the base legs isn't placed directly in front of seated person, the chair leans forward making you feel as if you are going to slide out of the chair. The picture makes it look twice as nice as it really is. ... show more

  • Soft, sturdy, really aggressive lumbar support
Color: Brown
This chair is really well made! Solid metal construction for the base, plenty of soft cushioning in the back and seat, adjustable armrests, too. It took me 10 minutes to assemble and looks great. The fabric is that faux suede that feels soft and smooth, but I'd hate to sit on it in the summer. For the winter, the heating effect of the non-breathable fabric is a nice bonus. The lumbar support was the deal breaker for me. It bumps out so far that after an hour or so, my back started hurting just from sitting there. If you're a big fan of lumbar pillows, this will likely suit you fine. Just doesn't work with my anatomy. ... show more

  • I wish I hadn't ordered this chair
Color: Black
TLDR: This is not a horrible chair but it isn't worth its full asking price either. Packaging: The chair is reasonably well packaged though the gas cylinder had broken free of its box and did some cosmetic damage to the bottom of the chair. Additionally, the front of one of the padded armrests was/is excessively compressed. Overall though, I am impressed. Nothing dinged or dented except on spot on the bottom of the chair seat. Assembly: Assembly is definitely required and there is one point where it is helpful to have a second pair of hands. (That said, I didn't and I was able to complete the assembly by myself without damaging the chair or my surroundings.) I would compare the assembly process to an IKEA chair but with better directions. The directions were excellent. All the parts were included along with some spares. About the only disappointing aspect of the assembly process was the insertion of eight little cosmetic covers intended to conceal the screw holes used to attach the arms to the chair. They barely stay in place. I have no doubt that several of them will be missing after the first week or two. Appearance: This is a good looking chair. The black leatherette surface of the chair material is attractive. The pedestal is powder coated black metal. That said, I have concerns about the durability of this material. I have a pair of barstools with a fabric that looks and feels identical. After two or three years, the black top layer has begun peeling off. I wouldn't be surprised to see the same thing happen with this chair—particularly if it is going to get regular use. Comfort and Functionality: The cushions are comfortable without being too plush. My tailbone has been giving me some trouble lately but it is perfectly comfortable and pain-free in this chair. The chair offers height adjustment along with the ability to tilt back. (To be clear, the seat and chair back remain at a fixed angle to each other and tilt back together.) I prefer this style of tilt, but at 5'9" I find the height adjustment to be too limited. It just doesn't go high enough. I've never experienced this with an office chair before and it is a deal killer for me. I find myself reaching up for my keyboard. I would imagine it would be worse for someone taller. It seems like the gas cylinder included with the chair is too short. The armrests swing up and out of the way but otherwise they are not height adjustable. They feel high to me but everyone has different preferences. The other issue is the casters. They're cheap and don't change direction smoothly. If I were going to keep this chair, I would swap them out for some better ones. The bottom line: This chair has some nice aspects but I can't recommend it because of its limited maximum height. It might be possible to replace the gas cylinder but who wants to deal with that? And while structurally I think the chair will hold up, my experience with a similar leatherette fabric suggests that users will get two-three years of regular use out of it before the fabric starts to break down and look trashy. But understand that this concern about the fabric is speculation on my part. Brand new it looks great. ... show more
