I decided to clean up the workspace downstairs. I have a desk that had a 4 outlet power strip. The problem is that I need multiple USB charging blocks plugged in so I started turning it into a rat's nest of adapters, extension cords and outlet taps. It took up way too much space and wow ... the wires were everywhere! I purchased this power strip specifically because it has USB ports (A and C) along with 5 outlets. My portable monitor, Apple dock, LED sign and portable fan were all connected to this power strip and I HADN'T EVEN PLUGGED INTO AN OUTLET YET. Turns that bad wow above into a "wow!". Also helpful is the power strip isn't taking up real estate on the desk or sitting on the floor where it would be barely accessible. I used the mounting clamp to attach it to the side of the desk so it's out of the way but easily used. The ports are also angled towards the work surface and not straight up. This may not seem like much but when you're sitting at the desk working it is a major convenience to see the "top" of the power strip. My work surface is now clean and uncluttered (by wires anyway). So much less frustration.

As a traveling nail tech, I'm always needing to plug things in, be it my gel lamp, nail desk light, drill because it's going dead while using it or even just my phone. I'm able to mount this to my nail desk and keep everything it within arms reach without having to bother the client to get up and plug this or that in. The upside are the usb and usb-c ports. I have iPhones and an iPad so even when I'm not using it at a client's home, I'm able to use it at my desk at home. I'm actually going to purchase another one for my wife and my desk at home so that I don't have to move or unplug anything when I go to service a client. It doesn't take up too much space and I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who needs a surge protector on the go or close by that you don't wanna have to reach for.

As most of us do, we have a few chargers that plug into a wall under our desk or stand for charging our devices, I happen to stumble across this Desk Clamp charging Strip and it works fantistic, when I have guest over, of course there always asking "Where can I charge this or whats your WIFI password, so now I just point them over to the desk were this Power strip is located and thats it. BTW its also a Fast Charger.

I bought two of them, and I really liked that this station includes both USB type c and A. I mean, it works and does the job, but the ones I received have pretty bad scratches (may have received returned or refurbished ones) on the surface in the front, which is unpleasant to look at but may not be a huge issue since you will have a lot of chargers to cover the surfaces.

I like this unit as its easy to install and seems to work just fine. I think there is a limitation on the usb ports but i have not really played with the usb ports enough to say for sure. My only issuue is the way the cord comes out the back as my desk is pushed tight to the wall. I wish it had a 90 degree end where it comes out of the block.

The power strip makes a constant high pitched whining noise. Several other reviewers have said the same thing. It's annoying, but since the strip is attached to your desk only a few feet from your face, it becomes absolutely unbearable over time. Also, when an outlet whines or buzzes like this it's usually a sign there are loose wires inside. Considering that most users will plug expensive desktop tech, like computers, into these outlets, that's a major concern. I've lived with the whining (and the risk from the potential poor construction) of these outlets for many months and they're driving me insane, I'm ordering another brand to replace it today. Update: while looking at alternative power strips, I saw many people specifically say that other power strips whine only when they use their USB outlets. I unplugged the USB cords from this one and it did indeed stop whining. Wow, I can't believe I dealt with that for months. Also, I'm still not convinced that's not a sign of quality issues even if it's a voltage control issue and not loose wires. In any case, it means the USB-A ports, at the very least, are unusable. For some reason the USB-C ports don't seem to be causing any whining at the moment.
