Initially I was upset that it did not fit my table that is 1 3/4" thick. Going back a rereading the description it says maximum size is 1.6". So that is my fault for not reading fully. However, I had to take it apart to modify it a little and I was able to get it to fit my table and it appears to be working fine. I will note that the wiring inside is only 18awg wiring which is rated for 14amps. Just keep that in mind this is not for anything that could draw the full potential of your 15amp or 20amp circuit. Also take into account the total number of devices you have plugged in and how much power they all draw together.

I really like this item... I travel for work and was constantly having to pull my desk out to reach the outlet... no more! This power strip attached to my desk perfectly and is conveniently hidden behind my laptop and I can't even see it. Not sure if this is amazon or the seller but I ordered what I thought would be a new item in box and instead received a returned item with obvious damage to the item. It has some black scuff marks on the back behind the plugs. Since they will be hidden from view I didn’t waste my time returning as I already had issues with this order in the beginning. Overall the product works wells for what I need. It’s a modern look and doesn’t look clunky on my work desk. I would recommend that you review the photo that shows the different plug in variations it will support. Another review had pointed this out and had I not read it I would not have known that you cannot plug-in two USB-A plugs and a USB-C at the same time.

I clamped it to the bottom corner on my side table. Downsizing a larger vertical powerstrip because getting rid of things I don't need. This fits the simplicity and the ports needed in a compact design as well as the flat plug. Advertised for a desk but be creative. The measurements in the picture are correct. Clamp it where you want it. Surge protection: I don't see any outside button to reset a surge. Other than that...

This is a great little power strip I purchased during a "Lightning Deal" during Prime Days for $30. While that is a bit pricey, I needed a power strip to attach to a metal desk frame and this works perfectly. I do like that the outlets are spaced far enough apart so I can utilize all outlets when some of the plugs are the larger brick type. This model comes with 3 outlets, 2 USB-A, and 2 USB-C outlets. The USB outlets are quick charging. They do offer a 5 outlet power strip as well. The clamp securely attaches to the frame and does not move when unplugging cords. Of note...the product description says it is a surge protector and the box says "overcurrent protection" with no mention on level of protection. Overall, pleased with this purchase. Update: Taking one star off as the USB outlet does not always work with the little light I use at the desk. I have to use a brick and take up an outlet when using the light.

I bought several of these for an office move for easy access to power at desks and testing locations, and so far they are working well. One of the units we received has significant coil whine when plugged into a USB-C device that is only drawing a small amount of power (cell phone plugged in but at 100% battery), but the other units are totally silent.
