This fan is well-made and performs to expected standards. It is very quiet too, which in my book is a BIG plus. It gives plenty of wind and cool air, and with its 3 light-bulbs, it provides a decent amount of light as well. Assembly took me some time and effort however- the fan comes with most of the parts completely disassembled, so it took me over 2 hours to put it together (30+ year old female). The materials are of good quality, the only part I did not appreciate is the absence of any kind of seal where the motor chain coming through the glass diffuser. Out of the box, the main body of the fan had a couple of screws rolling around in it that we had to remove with pliers. Other than that, installation was straight-forward and the directions were clear. It was easy to mount the fan in the existing location of our old fan. It does look really nice. The brushed nickel and design of the fan are aesthetically pleasing. It's very quiet when on and even though it doesn't shake, there were a few weights included to balance it out just in case. The only other issue is that the light fixture seems to be crooked slightly. This is not due to user error. It's very mild but still noticeable. ... show more

It is of great quality and easy to install. The long wire and firm steel base ensure stability. The brightness of the light is sufficient to cover a one-bedroom apartment, and the fan is strong enough to work efficiently in both directions, making it useful in both winter and summer. The media could not be loaded. This is a very well-made and good-performing ceiling fan: it is very quiet, delivers plenty of wind, and with its 3 bulbs provides a decent amount of light. Assembly takes quite an effort - the fan comes with most of the parts completely disassembled so it took me over 2 hours to put it together. The materials are of good quality, the only part I did not appreciate is the absence of any kind of seal where the motor chain coming through the glass diffuser. That makes it harder to pull on a chain and also it risks damaging that diffuser eventually. Another strange feature is the fact that you cannot take off or put back fan blades until you completely disassemble the bottom part of the combo where the lights are. That makes it even more cumbersome when you want to relocate this combo to another room or something. It is solid product but labor intensity as it pertains to assembly and install is not competitive when compared to other more modern products you can find and could definitely be improved.
