We’ve had our faucet for 4 years and love it. It is nice to voice activate the water sometimes when my hands are particularly dirty or if you prep about under. We use the touch much more though. We do make sure to make sure when we leave on vacation to shut it off by the handle. On a rare occasion it will turn on or off by itself…or we have a ghost! The magnet that holds the spray hose to the faucet head has recently rusted and pushed out which is the strangest thing. I called Delta support and I’m a 5 minute phone conversation they are shipping out a kit to replace the magnet. So easy! ... show more

Love Love Love This Faucet

This faucet was installed about 2 years ago and it works beautifully. The voice IQ is limited in terms of the amount of tasks it can do, but I like asking it to dispense a certain amount of water for whatever, and also asking it turn on warm water. The touch function has been flawless. It looks sleek, and the magnetic sprayer works great. I will buy the Essa TV again soon in my new kitchen remodel. ... show more

The faucet itself is fine, but do NOT buy for the VoiceIQ Alexa/Google voice activated features. Apparently the necessary cloud hasn't been working for some time and there's a new version coming but support hasn't acknowledged this to me and wasted a bunch of time and still left without the features I paid premium for. I purchased the faucet in Nov and installed in Dec '22. I initially contacted support via phone and ran through a bunch of useless troubleshooting steps and eventually they offered to send a replacement voice module. That didn't work any better and had an email exchange initiated from their website sending more pictures of my installation and documenting the problem. I asked several technical questions from other reviewers suggestions that were never answered, but did offer to send one more replacement, this was Dec 29, 2022. Now that I look back at the reviews I found that the positive reviews were just for the TouchIQ or basic version without voice. Sorting by most recent I found other people having difficulties which their support experience acknowledging problems on their end with little hope of resolution. Now, come to find out there's a Generation 2 version of the module that is supposed to be available early 2023. This information is only found in the app which isn't compatible with the version they're sending and doesn't work. The link to the website they refer you to doesn't even mention it yet. For reference here's the original issue as I described to them: When I connect it to the ethernet cable to power it up the green led flashes for about 8 seconds then the red led is lit constant for about 4 seconds and it does that sequence several times until it gives up and stays red longer or I unplug and try again. If I'm quick I occasionally see the "Delta-XXX" Wifi network SSID pop up on my phone's Wifi search, but then it disappears or says unable to join the network before I even have a chance to browse to 10.10.10.1. I've tried this multiple times from both iOS and Android phones and came back later in the day. I'm not sure what's going on, it's like it wants to work but doesn't keep the wifi going long enough to finish the process. The troubleshooting guide doesn't describe this scenario. I understand if there was a power issue the red led would blink. I can confirm the solenoid gets power from the AC adapter because the touch faucet still works if I temporarily remove the battery pack and it is plugged into a constantly powered outlet. Later I continued to mess with it again and was able to connect to the Delta-XXX wifi after several attempts and tried to connect it to my home wifi but got the same cloud connection is not working after verifying activation. All in all this wifi seems very finicky and difficult to connect to. I think I had it setup but was always stopped with cloud issues trying to activate, and given that I had configured Wifi it was more difficult timing to re-connect to it in setup mode. I've spent hours on this and very frustrated, even more so now that support had me keep trying but apparently wasn't ever going to work. I really wanted this to work and spent hours trying to debug this on my end. ... show more

Don't bother

The faucet itself is fine. The voice and touch technology are absolute garbage. - The Google Home integration works 1 out of 10 times. The rest of the time it just returns search results for faucets. - Both touch and voice activation require the sink handle to already be set to the on position. If I'm already touching the thing, why on earth would I need to talk to it? - Because of the previous quirk, the faucet can only dispense water at the temperature the handle is already set to. Want to ask the sink to preheat water so it's warm when you get to the kitchen? Too bad! - You can't use a custom name for the faucet; You're stuck with the list of names they give you. This is very obviously off the shelf technology poorly grafted onto an existing faucet as cheaply as possible to lure in suckers who thought it might be useful. It is not. Save your money, or buy the Moen smart sink if you actually want a well thought out product. ... show more

Performs as advertised!!

We are still getting used to it -- particularly the voice commands -- but absolutely LOVE this faucet. My wife loves the Touch-on-Touch-off feature. I would recommend reviewing a few of the YouTube instructions before installing as the written instructions do not quite cover the finer points, at least for a novice installer like myself. I did order one of the plug-in adapters separate from this faucet and was surprised to find one of them included in the box with the faucet. I ended up returning one of them. ... show more

We had a faucet setup that we disliked since we bought the house. Finally, we splurged and got this beautiful Delta faucet because of features and that it covered 3 of the countertop holes. The fourth hole was filled with the "InSinkErator Modern Instant Hot and Cold Water Dispenser Faucet, Chrome, F-HC3300C", fed by a "InSinkErator HWT-F1000S, One Size, Silver" (they are both awesome). Together, they are lovely to behold. Installation was fine. It was tight quarters, but I knew that going in. I needed a couple fittings to work with the hot water heater and filter. I expected that too. There are some oddities of the installation (yes, the batteries really do sit on the bottom of the cabinet), but it went very smoothly. We loved the faucet enormously for about a month. The voice control is not worth it, IMO. We use Google Home, and the control is a kludge. If you ever used "IF THIS, THEN THAT", you get the gist. Awkward. Everything else is fantastic: high flow rater, great controls, excellent retraction of the sprayer, fun LED, and especially the touch on/off. Then randomly, the touch activation stopped working. Literally, I touched it to fill the kettle and 15 seconds later touched it and nothing happened. Lots of touching later with no results, I consulted Delta's website. I followed the reset instruction, no love. I unplugged it, removed the batteries, nothing. Understand, that when it stops working, the actual handle may not work either. Also exciting are the phantom ons during this period. We now habitually leave the water in the on position so that we can touch it to turn on. The phantom ons means that the water just starts running with no one in the area. "Cool". :-( I was about to box it up and return it as broken (reading reviews here, Delta "support" is more frustrating than the problem) when it suddenly began working again. Easy go, easy come? It worked again for about two weeks and then suddenly stopped responding to touchs. And then it started working again, randomly. A couple tips: * Sometimes the touch will stop working on the neck of the faucet. Try touching the base or handle, and they might work. * The same "voice" capability lets you use a basic website to control the faucet. If you bookmark that webpage on your phone, you can turn off the faucet from your sofa when the phantoms start happening. They'll happen every 5-30 minutes when you start, but if you have a cat on your lap and don't want to get up to manually turn off the valve, you can do this. Right now, we are 60/40 on the pro/con scale. When it works, it is awesome. Its beautiful and functions so nicely. That's what makes the troubled times so awful. Next time, we won't get the "voice" function and maybe not the touch feature. ... show more
