Great unit run it about all year in Texas. Even in the winter sometimes for our bedroom. We can't stand it being hot at all when we sleep. I installed it and haven't had to mess with it since. Just take a glance at the instructions because there are some things I do not think I know about its not incredibly straightforward.

This portable air conditioner works great! We have it in a two car garage. It is hot and humid here but this a/c blows out great cold air and keeps the garage very cool, even with two big windows. We like it about 75 in there, and that's what we set it for and get. Of course it was a little difficult to hook up due to our big windows and a huge work table in front. The hose was just long enough to skirt around that end. Easy to put the pieces together. Not that noisy but then, we don't sleep in the garage. It is easy to use with or without the remote. I don't use the wifi feature at all, no need for us to. It pulls a lot of water out into a bucket using a drain hose, included. We empty it, about 2 gallons, a day. The one thing you need to do is buy a hose insulation type of cover for the hose. It gets very hot from taking out hot air. I wrapped the covering around it and then duct taped it around and down. I also had to seal where the hose goes out because the heat outside and inside is often great. All of that and it works great to do what we need...make the garage cool in the summer heat. You can drain the water to outside if you want to drill a hole in the or something but you would need to make that drain long enough to reach. As is, it just goes down a short way into a container. The unit is not that heavy and is already set with wheels to move around easily. I hope it lasts all summer.

This product was easy to install but the performance is bad. It appears like a good value for the money but its not. It doesnt cool a 500sq ft room. Ive had it for a few months. It now also keeps telling me the tank is full after ive completely emptied it out 3 days in a row. I couldnt return it in time and now im stuck. Im not happy about this one.

I do not do well with head and humidity. I moved to a new apartment last summer, which has a pretty old aircon unit. It works, but it's on the loud side and the way the apartment is arranged, the cold air doesn't make it to the bedroom. I survived the summer with a rube-goldberg contraption of strategically arranged fans. This summer I did my research and bought this machine for the bedroom. It's perfect. Keeps the room very cool and it's quiet--a good level of white noice to drown out the traffic, but not so loud as to keep me awake. Sleep mode dims the lights and gradually raises the temp a few degrees as you sleep, to save energy. Highly recommend.

Purchased the product to save for the summer electric bill, especially at night when we only use 1 room. It absolutely worked for me. When we had questions about the product, the company was very responsive, even went above and beyond at one point to where they were going to send another unit due to us not figuring out how to make our adjustments. Came un damaged. Very straightforward to assemble not sure why people say the hose is hard to get on took me like 30 seconds for both ends. Window kit seems to be OK need to get some hvac tape and foam to seal any gaps. Started right up and a few seconds later it was blowing cold air. Not any noisier than an AC unit in a hotel really. It has good airflow on low fan speed. The app and wifi worked right away had no issues pairing. Will update review if there are any issues.
