The media could not be loaded. This Astercook 13-piece knife set was an impulse purchase that truly paid off. I already own an Astercook knife block set, and this collection complements it perfectly. The standout for me is the 7-inch santoku knife—it’s easily my most-used. It slices meat cleanly (especially beef against the grain) and, surprisingly, is the best knife I’ve ever used for cutting cantaloupe. The ergonomics are excellent, requiring very little effort and putting no strain on my palm or wrist—it truly feels like cutting through butter. The paring knife handles detailed cutting beautifully, and the chef’s knife is a true workhorse, chopping everything from vegetables to raw nuts with ease. Performance aside, the color palette initially drew me in—and it’s even better in person. The soft, creamy hues are elegant and “buttery,” making the set feel far more upscale than its price suggests. This set also hits a perfect gift price point. It looks and performs like a premium knife collection without the premium cost.

This set is very affordable. The knives are sharp. The safety covers are very easy to use. And the scissors are very sharp. I love the fact that the scissors are included in this set. Many kitchen scissors cost as much as this entire set. So this is a very good deal.

I’m really impressed with this 13-piece knife set. The knives are extremely sharp right out of the box and slice through vegetables, fruit, and meat with ease. They make everyday cooking so much faster and easier. This is a great affordable knife set if you don’t want to spend hundreds on high-end brands. The knives feel lightweight but still sturdy and comfortable to hold. I also love that they’re easy to clean — I put mine in the dishwasher and they’ve held up well. For the price point, this kitchen knife set is a fantastic value. I would definitely buy them again. They’re practical, sharp, dishwasher safe, and easy to replace if needed.

So far I have enjoyed using one of the knives. It’s sharp and was easy for me to use. I have arthritis and my grip isn’t always the best. I like having the covers for each knife. I like the idea of being able to put them in the dishwasher. I wish the scissors had a cover. The price was great!

These knives are the best. I love the various sizes, and I get so much use out of the smaller knives. The handles feel comfortable in your hand and are easy to grip. They are sturdy, I love the colors, and I love that each knife has its own blade cover since there are times I do pack my knives to travel to my store for small entertaining events that I host. When the knife set is on sale ($19.99), I buy them for gifts. I have given them numerous times for Christmas and bridal shower gifts. My sister loved her set and even bought some as gifts. I highly recommend this set of knives. They are so good for the price, and I get so much use out of them. So glad I came across them.
