  • Happy, for the most part.
Style: PN579X
I really like this pen, but sometimes it skips/writes “wavy” and i don’t know why. When this happens I try to switch the program (hold both sides of the button down) and re program again. Sometimes it work, usually it doesn’t. This doesn’t happen that often but it can be annoying. I don’t think it’s low battery though, but that’s also confusing. My laptop will say that it’s on 87% battery but then I get a notification that it’s no low battery and the pen will start skipping. Then, when I turn my computer on an off, disconnect and reconnect the pen, or something else that’s similar, it works fine and it doesn’t say low battery anymore. I’ve used it single day for the past 1.5 months and I haven’t changed the battery ... show more

  • Does the job
I am giving this 5 stars because I can't think of another Pen on the market that is better than this, even though this is imperfect. It works as advertised. It takes a "regular" battery (not rechargable), but you can supposedly get a very long life out of it before needing to switch. The controls are pretty straight forward. It's basic functionality will work on almost anything, but the advanced functionality (tilt) will only work with programs that support it, and support is not common. It works in ArtRage and Leonardo though (works really well with Leonardo actually). I have heard it works partially in photoshop. Make sure you research your favorite art app before buying this to make sure it will work with it. The pressure sensitivity and tilt functions will only work with ACTIVE displays...so just having a touchscreen is not enough. Though I believe basic functionality still works with regular touchscreens. Make sure your device supports Active Display before buying this. It's comfortable to hold, and pretty intuitive to use. I have seen a lot of people complaining that finding replacement nibs for it is difficult (I have no idea why...but I have been told you can buy them directly from Dell if you call). ... show more

  • Works well with a Dell XPS 15 2in1 9575
I got this pen to go with my Dell XPS 15 2in1 9575 and it works great. I use this for photo editing and design work (in Photoshop, Lightroom and Microsoft Publisher mainly, though I also use it for editing web layouts) and it helps a lot. Sometimes on a laptop trying to use the touch pad can be a bit tricky, and this pen allows perfect control over your selections. There are also several different functions/settings for the buttons, which are super useful. I wasn't sure how I would like the tether that comes in this pack, as it didn't seem like you would be able to use to pen very well while it tethered, but so far the tether has not really gotten in the way of my hand motions. Obviously you can keep the pen tethered only when you are transporting your laptop, but if you take it back and forth to work daily you can also just leave it on without it getting in the way too much. I had to check a couple different places to make sure this pen was compatible, but if your laptop is and you do creative work, I would definitely recommend getting this pen. ... show more

  • Excellent function; skin peels off
Style: PN579X
Five stars as far as accuracy, function, and other technical aspect go. It may be a generic stylus (don't want to mention the name) or pen with a vinyl/plastic wrap. The wrap peels off like a snake or an anthropoid changes skin. I do not know if a new wrap will start growing, but our son and I have been patiently waiting to look for new black wrap growth. Nothing so far. Will I buy again? Good question as this was the pen with best reviews. I averages the 3 ratings (5+1+4 = 10) and divided by 3 to get to my overall rating. I think Dell should stop faking the identity of the generic pen with a wrap. I suggest they inscribe "Dell" on it instead of the silly wrap. Not sure if I recommend it - it functions well, so its a good product. But we didn't enjoy the peeling process that happened over a long agonizing period of several months. May be you should peel it off right away and be done with it. ... show more

  • Amazing responsiveness
Style: PN579X
This pen is amazing. Very easy to grip and is very responsive. Still exploring all the features that are at the click of the button on top, but so far I am very impressed.

  • It works on my Dell Inspiron!
I had this pen for a while (ordered it on Sept 23 and got it on the 26) and it worked perfectly with my Dell Inspiron 13 7000 (7386) series 2-in-1 laptop. Set up was easy and for me, it was worth it. No problems while using it, but I noticed that it does not have an off button and that is because it's on standby mode (which is something you can't turn off). I have been using it for two days now and the battery is still on 100%. ... show more

  • Worth the money
Style: PN579X
I have a Dell latitude 9510. This is the only pen that seems to work, and it works GREAT! I was very uncertain and really didn’t want to spend the money.... but it does exactly what it should. Given, I’ve only had it about 1.5 weeks, but I write a LOT of notes as a college student and this pen has had zero issues. If other pens are giving you a hard time, try this one out. ... show more

  • Perfect!
Style: PN579X
Pressure sensitive!! My old active pen did not have the ability and this is a game changer for class. I teach astronomy and biology from home and I draw a lot! So I welcome the new upgrade. Easy set up. Nice packaging.
