Nice to see that WD-40 is selling such a broad range of products now. I actually think silicone spray is more useful than WD-40, though I use both. The handy flip spray is really useful, no more losing straws. Also bought their dry lubricant, though that has a more limited use.

I used to use regular WD-40 to lubricate my squeaky garage door and my glass sliding door. I found that the silicone alternative is a much better lubricant and doesn't leave a residue like regular oil-based lubricants, doesn't attract dust, and protects agains wear. Why did you pick this product vs others?: Living in FL, we have motorized hurricane (screen) shutters. They kept malfunctioning until we purchased this product. The screens, along with our garage door, now operate much more smoothly and quieter. Highly recommend vs. original WD40.

Worked when all else failed. Bought a house. Screen sliding door derailed each time you tried to use it. Adjusted one way then back the other, tried to replace wheels and finally got a new door. Still catching every time. Bought this as a non oil based lubricant was recommended if you used one on track. Didn’t actually expect much. Finally have a usable screen door.     • Works Great for Old Door Locks and Hinges!

I've used this multiple times on my Mom's old home, spray it right into the key hole and turning the key is not a problem no more, deadbolts roll back smoothly, door hinges operate quietly, doesn't leave a mess and lasts a long time. I would highly recommend this product!

Have used this product on stiff sliding glass doors, windows, key locks, and door hinges at an ancient house built in the 1960s. For my use, this is better than conventional WD-40. When I recently moved into an apartment, I used this product to open and close the room windows and operate the locking mechanisms on them. The award-winning maintenance team was unable to get my windows operating properly (despite several requests), so I took matters into my own hands.
