Ive had PB Blaster silicone and now WD-40 silicone and I would have to say the WD-40 out performs. The sprayer is better and it seems to lubricate better. I would buy this product again.

So far great product. I used it on several window sashes and even took off my blinds to renew their effort to fold up again. They fold up very nicely now . It does have a detectable odor that lasts a couple of days in a room, but then I used it on five windows and a pair of French doors. This will not stain or collect dust as other types of oil. If you don’t have a silicone lubricant, you really need to get this. ... show more

Standard WD-40 is actually a solvent and water displacer, not a true lubricant, which is why this Specialist Silicone version is a mandatory garage upgrade. I threw a banana in the picture for scale, which is highly fitting because if any of this overspray gets on your smooth garage floor, you will slip and bust your tail faster than stepping on a cartoon banana peel. It is insanely slick and perfect for squeaky car doors, sticky window tracks, and garage door rollers. WHAT EXCELS: • Unlike regular WD-40, this silicone formula is 100% safe to use on rubber gaskets, plastics, and vinyl without drying them out or degrading them. • The permanently attached "Smart Straw" is brilliant. You can flip it up for a precision stream or snap it down for a wide spray, and you never have to worry about losing that tiny red straw again. CRITICAL USAGE WARNING: • The overspray is practically invisible and turns hard floors (like tile, linoleum, or sealed concrete) into an absolute ice rink. Always hold a rag behind whatever you are spraying, or lay down down a piece of cardboard to catch the excess. A good lubricant for when you need a dry lube. Was surprisingly hard to find in the big box stores, so it was Amazon to the rescue. I especially appreciate the smart straw as I'm always losing other brand's straws.

This is excellent for quieting noisy cheap garage doors! Mine was squealing every time I would close the garage door; especially when it got close to the end of the close cycle. I sprayed this on the tracks at first.... No change. Then the center hinges.... quieter, but still loud with that annoying squealing. I then went to what are more clips than hinges on either side of the center hinge..... that did the trick! Now all I hear is the motor from the garage door opener. Buy it if your garage door is squealing and grease and wax hasn't done anything for you. This stuff works! ... show more
