I put off treating myself to a new Wacom for a very long time, and the price of this tablet was a huge deterrent. Now, days after receiving it, I simply cannot put it down and have gotten more work done this week than I have all month. The tablet is quick to set up, and is ready to draw out of the box. I work in Clip Studio and was able to sync my workspace within about 2 hours (mind I have hundreds of brush files that it had to download) and from there it was been smooth sailing. I have yet to start any major Illustrations with timelapses, but the files Ive been working on so far havent shown any lag or serious heat. If I start noticing the corner with the processor getting warm, I just flip it away from me so I dont really notice it. At first I had a lot of touch issues between hand and pen, but CP actually has setting you can enable to stop it from reading your finger as a brush. From there it was a simple matter of moving windows around so I wouldnt accidentally change things when I put my wrist down. I am flabbergasted by how light this thing is. It is EXTREMELY thin and I immediately ordered a case for it. The tactile-feel of the screen isnt much different from a screenless wacom pad, so I got used to it quickly. The pen doesnt stick to the side anywhere, so I have to be careful where I put it out of fear of misplacing it. App wise the built in drawing from Wacom feels like real pencil, and its been interesting to sketch in. You can then upload that sketch to Clip Studio to work in, which I feel I might start doing. The wacom shelf app also makes it easy to access files and projects. My biggest qualm is that you cannot manually change pen button settings, though being able to touch the screen ends up being a shortcut in itself. Overall Id say if you are on the fence, try it. We got it on credit and since theres a 30-day return, I thought it was safe to test for myself. Its the best thing Ive ever gotten for a professional workspace. ... show more

it's perf, i've honestly had no problems with it. the most notable feature about this tablet is the battery life, it lasts for days and the tablet never heats up no matter how long i use it. even in sleep mode it barely drops a percentage! i love the big size and that it's so lightweight, it's super comfortable to use and carry around. this might be a dealbreaker for some but i also like that it has no camera either. the flat bottom makes it comfortable to lay it on my desk and prevents it from slipping and sliding. i think the only gripe i have with it is the screen, it has a grainy texture that sands away the tip of my pen nib. i don't have a heavy hand and i've never had to change my nibs with other tablets, but i can see this becoming a pattern in the near future. so just be aware to get a screen protector of some sort to combat this! overall though, i've had a good time w this tablet and i'm glad i made the purchase :) ... show more

This is probably the best alternative to the big names. It has all the functionality of a Samsung without being forcefed A.I. features. In fact outside of some Gemini nonsense (which can be turned off) it is delightfully A.I. free. Which is probably a key selling point if you're an artist who actually creates ART with your own hands and mind. Tablet works well. Screen has great color accuracy but may feel a bit smooth for really avid illustrators. Apps are pretty snappy and quick, but I've run into a few that are incompatible with Wacom's Android flavor. Most stuff from the big artist software developers work tho. Hardware is solid. No cameras on this device which I honestly don't miss. Pen works quite well although some apps struggle with the buttons. Light as a feather. Really just a great tablet hampered by some compatibility issues and a bit too high of a price tag. ... show more

Very good tablet. It responds well, it connects to other devices quickly (it and my phone are inseparable atp), it has made productivity so much easier, the picture quality is gorgeous, and i love the feel of the pen and how it feels against the screen. Some minor issues i have are that the touch screen can be finicky occasionally, the tablet doesn't have an audio jack, the file system isn't the easiest to navigate (but you can download a different one to help with that), and i already have a stuck pixel after a day of use, but nothing bad enough to drop my score down, even combined. These are merely nitpicks. It's an excellent drawing tablet that I've been able to use on the way to work, at work, and at home, and whenever i have the itch to start drawing, it's super easy to set up and it takes literally seconds to get started with whatever program you like to use (Krita user here). I also call my friends on discord or listen to youtube on it while i draw, and the sound quality is amazing, my friends can't hear themselves while on speaker, and there's no lag from having multiple tabs open. Very much recommended, it's at least a 9.7/10 for me. ... show more

This noticeably outclasses the Galaxy Tab S9 that I'm upgrading from. I was happy with that for a while, but there were certain frustrations with it, inherent to being a multi-purpose tablet. Tilt and pressure on the Tab S9 were thrown off in various zones of the screen because of the magnetic attachment points interfering with the EMR stylus. The screen was slippery. Colors weren't quite calibrated to SRGB. The Movinkpad Pro 14 was my logical upgrade when I wanted to get back into art more seriously. And it's been better for art in every way so far. The screen is beautiful, and the micro-etched finish gives good paper-like traction to the stylus. The resolution and size of the Movinkpad Pro 14 is much better than the Tab S9. The screen calibration is more accurate. Most importantly, the Movinkpad Pro 14 has no EMR "deadzones" to distort pressure and tilt. This is very important because I'm accustomed to traditional art and usually gauge how my lines will come out by feel, before even sight. As I'd gotten back into practice I felt like I constantly had to redo strokes on the Galaxy Tab S9 because the EMR interference on that tablet was just noticeable enough to mess up lines here and there. By contrast, the Movinkpad Pro 14 is so consistent I've stopped fearing EMR malfunctions altogether because they just don't happen. I've used a (first gen) Apple Pencil with an older iPad some years back when those were new, and more recently my Galaxy Tab S8 and S9, and there's no doubt that this tablet is much better for art than any of them. Ofc there are some little downsides like tinny speakers or a lack of camera, but if you're buying this tablet I'm going to assume the primary use is art, and so that other stuff doesn't matter. FWIW, this would also probably make a perfectly fine media tablet as well. Nice, big, high resolution screen for movies or manga. However, that's not the main purpose here. ... show more

I needed a tablet I could solely dedicate to digital painting and illustration without all the distractions of a traditional tablet. Additionally, I wanted something versatile that could handle intense creative work, while also plugging into my laptop, if needed. I almost stuck with the Movink11 , then had a change of heart and sprang for the 14. I am very happy with it so far. Seamless, responsive with good color. Great resolution with a nice screen surface. Nice, big screen. Comes with a trial with CLIPStudio, which is a new environment for me. I downloaded infinite paint as well which works wonderfully. Android powered, so any Android drawing apps you are accustomed to, you can easily download and get to work. No freezing, even on large works. The wake up sketch environment is pretty cool, and you can turn it off if it gets in the way. Comfortable to hold, but I am paranoid of dropping it. I immediately purchased a case for it, which is a 3rd party case for complete coverage and a pen holder. Really has helped me reconnect with my creative endeavors. Now to just get past the artist's block... Overall, if you have the $$ to invest in your work, and need something to pull away from your computer that won't distract you from your muses, get it. Cost effective to most Apple products (which most articles direct you too) and rivals a traditional tablet in my opinion. Dedicsted to your creative whims. Literally do not buy from Wacom. They used to be amazing, now they charge nearly full price for a refurbished item if your tablet is damaged in any way. They will not look at it, they will not repair it, they will charge you $800 and present you with an invoice, and then charge you shipping on top of that. My device was dropped and I was fully willing and ready to pay for new glass. I told them the screen and digitizers still worked perfectly, it was just the glass. I cannot justify spending $2000 on one tablet when apple offers a perfectly usable alternative for 1/5th of the price with repair support, and I don't even want anything to do with apple. ... show more
