I bought this book for my son who just started learning how to play a saxaphone. It was required by the band director at his school. I play a saxaphone as well so I know whether the content in the book was correct. I found it to be an excellent instructional music book for the beginner saxaphone player. It not only gives instruction on how to play but also gives instruction on how to maintain and clean the instrument as well which I found as very helpful for the student. The music starts very simple for the beginner and does escalate in difficuly as the lessons go on. I do recommend this book. ... show more
