    • Expired Dell warranty and sketchy Windows 11 install
As Kim398 mentioned, our PC also arrived with an expired Dell warranty. This is different than genuine new Optiplexes, which will often come with a 3 or 1 year warranty starting from date of shipment. Who knows what this reseller offers in terms of warranty if one needed it. The Win11 Pro install was sketchy. Upon reaching the desktop, there was NO Dell apps preinstalled. Now this may seem like a good thing, but it set off red flags that it's been "tampered" with. I decided to repartition with a fresh Win11 Pro install and noticed a partition labeled "ubuntu." Another red flag. As far as I know, Dell doesn't offer that. Was the hard drive tampered with? Is this even the original hard drive? Either way, I recommend deleting all partitions and reinstall a fresh version of Win11 Pro if you want to be confident you have a stable, legit, and uncompromised system. My model had 2 x Displayport, as listed and as shown in the pics and on Dell's site, so no surprises there. I also received a keyboard and no mouse, but the listing also indicates that. This seller (ProTech PC) is pushing strange stock, so just beware. Don't trust the Windows install it comes with. For a business product, this one isn't worth the hurdles. ... show more

    • NO HDMI PORTS AND NO MOUSE
Yeah, I was fooled too by the pictures of the back of the pc. It showed HDMI but there are only 2 DP ports and I had to order 2 DP/HDMI adapters to use the pc. But so far, so good but I also noted that the Dell warranty expired 1/23. I did not realize that this would be a new-old-stock product! The Media Player Legacy is also old and it was hard to find info on how to use it. The mouse was also missing from the shipment...sloppy packaging! ... show more
