I had to send in my week old unit to be replaced because the laptop stopped charging. My second unit stopped charging after about a month and a half. Support told me my only two options were to buy a second charger with my own money to test if it was the charger or the laptop, or to return the laptop. I eventually decided to return it, only to have the same support staff who recommended a return tell me it was outside of the return window and I would have to appeal to Amazon support. Seller claimed it was out of their hands. Amazon support authorized the return no questions asked. Do not buy this laptop, and if you do, be prepared to argue with rude and unhelpful support staff. ... show more

    • Without enlarging the writing on screen, it's difficult to read with magnifying reading glasses.

Touch screen functions without a hiccup, and this is useful because the printing it renders on most websites is so small that to read it , I need to magnify the page. Otherwise my eyesight is not acute enough to easily read most writing not in a large font. This was not the case with my previous laptop with touch screen, which also let me paint with a battery driven pen and choice of lines and colors. I realize I might be missing a technical way of enlarging the print, and tried Accessibility controls but so far to no avail. ... show more

This Dell product offered the best value for price. It has a fast processor, huge amount of space & great screen. The battery life could be better at about 4.5 hours & and backlit feature would have been a feature.
