    • 2 Laptops for Wife and Mother-in-law!
CPU: Intel Core 5 RAM Size: 16 GB Capacity: 512 GB Style: 14.0 FHD+
💝 For My Wife ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ **Apparently I just set the bar way too high** Bought this for my wife thinking it would be a nice, thoughtful gift. What I didn’t realize is I’ve now created expectations that I’m not sure I can maintain going forward. She loved it immediately — like, *actually* loved it, not the polite “oh this is nice” kind. It’s one of those rare wins where you feel like you completely nailed it, and now I’m walking around like I planned it all along. Quality is great, looks fantastic, and most importantly… it earned me way more points than I probably deserve. **10/10 — would recommend if you enjoy being temporarily considered a genius.** -- 👵 For my Mother-in-Law ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ **Earned me favorite status (for now)** Picked this up for my mother-in-law and let’s just say… the reaction was strong. Very strong. The kind where you immediately move up a few spots in the rankings. It’s practical, well-made, and exactly the kind of thing she’ll actually use — which is the real goal. No regifting, no “I’ll put it in a drawer,” just genuine appreciation. Bonus: my wife noticed too, so this may have been a strategic masterstroke. **Highly recommend if you’re looking to impress the in-laws without overthinking it.** ... show more

    • Works fine
CPU: Intel Core 5 RAM Size: 16 GB Capacity: 512 GB Style: 14.0 FHD+
I have a bunch of Dell laptops that I have had to retire after about two years of use. The keys peel off exposing the light under them or a key will just stop working. Press it and nothing happens. For that reason I consider laptops disposable and I am okay with this one not lasting beyond two years if that's what happens again. I'm on the keyboard about 12 hours a day, so I am hard on them. The Dell I replaced with this one also developed some other problems so I just gave up on it. Luckily it was Cyber Monday so I was able to buy at a good price. One thing I hated: the version of Word it comes with. It was very uncooperative with my history of using Word over the years. I deleted it and dug my 2010 version out of storage which I then installed. It was like being reunited with an old friend. I also had to use Open Shell for a Windows 7-like start menu. Can you tell I'm very old school? The computer is very lightweight and doesn't heat up much so it'll be comfortable to use in the summer. Recommended. ... show more

Functions fine but overheats very quickly. The fan comes on almost immediately and is very loud. Would not purchase again.
