I like the way this fixture looks, it's fun and whimsical. I had a little difficulty assembling it, but it wasn't too bad, the directions made an effort but the drawings weren't enough. The manufacturer says it has a hemp flowers shape, and is semi flush . . what? Typical nonsense. Once you get all the stems tangled in a knot like they're supposed to be, you need to gang the wires together using a connector. The drawing shows an arrow swooping up and to the right? or is it left? It's hard to tell, but suffice it to say you lift each little arm, using more force than it seems would be necessary to open each little channel and insert a wire all the way in, then press it back down to lock it in place. Naturally, all the white wires go in one and all the black in the other, including the jumper wire that will be connected to the house wiring. The other three spaces in the connector remain empty. From that point it's just like connecting any other light fixture, and the limit of 60w per bulb is generous if you are using LED bulbs. I used 11w bulbs, which give off a lot of light. As you can see in the photo, if you use any old globe bulbs the opaque part on the back of the bulbs which has writing printed on it is easily visible. We may leave it as is, or find another type of decorative bulb to replace them with. Construction generally seems adequate but not robust. If you like the way this looks it is worth the effort and it doesn't cost much. We plan to install this in our entry way as a fun greeting to visitors, worthy of a glance. ... show more

I was psyched to get this light because it just looked cool. Sadly it looked more impressive in the photos than in person. The metal pieces are pretty thin and flimsy, and the instructions look like a direct translation from another language, hence I had to figure out how to put it together without them. ... show more

I bought this because it was cool and I thought my son would like it. He’s a preteen and hard to please. He loved it. The light fixture is a great size for a bedroom or office and gives off a ton of light. We use it with color LED bulbs which is even cooler because each of the bulbs can be a different color. It’s like a work of art and meets the approval of a picky preteen and his designer mom. P.S. It may not be the easiest to assemble but it’s worth it! ... show more

Got this for my 15-year-old daughter and of course, she wanted it white to match the decor... So Dad had to paint it white (high performance for fast drying). Nevertheless, we love the style. I feel like adding the right bulbs will offer more light. For example, I'm partial to daylight bulbs to brighten up a room. Darkness has no place in a room full of light, literally and figuratively. Five bulbs will definitely light up her space. Her room is roughly a 12x12 or so. It'll help when we paint her room too. ... show more
