I love this tiller. It is lightweight, powerful, easy to use, takes up very little space, and very convenient. I have a couple of larger tillers. One with four tines and one with six tines. Those are great but I found that I rarely need to do a big enough area justify hauling out those bigger tillers. This one comes in a small box and assembles easily. It's small enough to just stick in my shed without breaking it down.But if I really need to save space I can separate the three sections and put it in a drawer. One of the things I like most is that this is really easy to clean. The tines attached with two snap rings and to clean it all you have to do is pull off the snap rings and wipe them off. My other till have the tines screwed in and inevitably they always pull up vines from the ground and that get wound around the tines. Those are a hassle to clean up. Deko batteries are great. I have them in a lot of tools. I really like is that this comes with a bench charger instead of the little wall wart. It makes it very convenient to just snap the battery in anytime I'm done working. I tested this on a small mound we have in our backyard that's leftover from an old tree stump. It literally took seconds to pull down a section of the mound. I'll be surprised if it takes 5 minutes to do the whole thing. When I first assembled it I thought that guide handle was a little too far up but then I started using it and I realized that it's just the right place because you want the teller to have enough weight to dig into the dirt without you having to push down. It took me a second to figure out how to attach the head. That's because there is a cap on the electrical connector prongs that you have to remove and discard. All I really had to do is read the label that was on it which says remove and discard.

This review is for DEKOPRO's Cordless 20V Battery Powered Tiller / Cultivator for $99.99. My first impression when this arrived on my doorstep was how small the box was (and how light it was!) There are only 3 main pieces - two parts for the handle and then the base that has the tines attached. It was all very easy to put together and took just minutes. The battery came mostly charged but I let it come up to a full charge before testing it (charged quickly). It cut through small roots with little effort in an area that had already been processed. I also tried it in a completely new spot that was mostly clay and rocks - and surprisingly, it also did ok there as well - not fast but it didn't get caught up or stopped (and I was fully expecting it to!) So it's a tough little tiller but I would stick to using it on spots where you just keeping up on or if you are doing it on completely new dirt, I'd stick to softer "dirt" (versus clay) for the most effective use. It comes with a pair of gloves and one pair has plastic "claws" on the end - making gardening that much more fun. Somewhere in between Wolverine, Freddy Krueger and your common garden vole. I've never seen this concept before in a gardening glove and honestly, I don't hate it... It also comes with 2 trowels - one with measurements which is super handy if you're planting bulbs! - and a claw tool. All are nice quality - maybe not the heaviest I've seen but definitely better than the normal light-weight versions you see. Overall, I was super pleased with this little guy. The price point felt spot on and comparable to other brands out there.

This cordless tiller does a decent job for light gardening and loosening up soil in raised beds and flower gardens. It's lightweight, easy to handle, and the battery lasts long enough for smaller projects. That said, I think it's overpriced for what you get. The performance is okay, but I expected a little more power and durability at this price point. Overall, it works as advertised and gets the job done, but I would be happier with it if it were priced a bit lower.

Works great! It doesn’t weigh very much and has lots of power. It doesn’t work well with weeds. They get wrapped around the tines and cause a huge loss of power. When I got it the battery was at 68% and it took approximately 4 hours to fully charge. Super easy to use and it works great in rockless soil. The weight is about perfect as you can get. My wife can use this for hours and it doesn’t totally wear her down. The two blades really do tear up the soil and tills it well. The garden tools that accompany this are very solid and so well built. I used it for a solid 45 minuts and I still had the full power so the battery lasts a long time. This is so much easier to use than a gas powered tiller this size. No worry about gas or oil just make sure the battery is charged. A good product and a good value. It has a lot of power.

I've never really considered owning my own tiller, but I now have a few other DEKOPRO household maintenance tools and I have found them very effective and reliable. When unboxed it looks like a lot of pieces to assemble but goes together pretty quick and easily. I love that it came with a set of garden tools that are surprisingly substantial. My favorite thing though is the gloves with the claws; where have these been all my life? It is a small unit obviously, so I wouldn't attempt to do a large yard but our lawn is established so I just need to address patches each year due to drought and dogs. This year there were extra of both of those, so there were a lot of patches I needed to till before putting down new seed and fertilizer. This cordless cultivator was perfect for my purposes. The 20V rechargeable battery gives it a lot of power for its size and weight, but the battery is surprisingly slim so it keeps it light and easy to handle. And it is so fast! It saved hours over my previous method of raking and re-raking, and raking again. So with all the extras and the time savings, at a price of $79, which is less than one visit from the landscaper, it pays for itself immediately. Highly recommend!

This thing is amazing. I’ve been needing something like this for a long time, and I’m so glad I finally got one (this one). It was easy to use, lightweight enough that I wasn’t fighting with it, and it did a much better job than I expected. I used it to loosen up some compacted soil and prep areas for planting, and it worked beautifully. One of the first things I did was scratch up part of my yard and throw down some wildflower seeds. Now I’m impatiently waiting to see if they grow, but I can say the soil was much better prepared than it would have been if I’d tried doing it by hand. This has already saved me a lot of effort, and I can see myself reaching for it often. Definitely one of my favorite gardening purchases this year.

Pros: For a compact 20V cordless tiller, this little machine has more torque than I expected. It was able to bite into hard-packed soil without constantly stalling, making it well suited for raised beds, flower gardens, and smaller cultivation jobs. I also appreciate that DEKOPRO includes a generous assortment of accessories. The gloves and hand tools are actually decent quality and useful instead of feeling like cheap filler, which adds value if you're just getting started with gardening. Cons: My biggest complaint is the narrow tilling width. With only one working set of tines, it effectively doubles the amount of time needed to cover larger areas compared to wider cordless tillers. It also only includes a single battery, whereas several competing models in this price range include two batteries (although they often come with fewer accessories). If you're tackling more than a couple of raised beds, you'll likely want a spare battery or be prepared to recharge before finishing. Overall, I rate it 4 out of 5 stars. It's a lightweight tiller with enough power for compacted soil and an excellent accessory package, but the narrow working width and single included battery keep it from being a perfect value.
