I live in Florida and with my A/C constantly being on 74 it still feels hot in my room. These electric bills are high. Mine is about $200/month because I never feel cold enough. THAT CHANGED YESTERDAY! I am moving next month to a different apartment and I will have a shower in my master suite. I also have a lot of electronics in my room that do not work well with moisture. There's no window in my new bathroom. So I purchased this dehumidifier to keep my devices from rusting. This KeepGlad Dehumidifier works AMAZINGLY and super quick! I had my dad walk into my room to see if he can feel the difference and he immediately said "I NEED ONE TOO!" Looks like we will order another one soon! The noise level is not too bad honestly. I typically sleep with a fan on anyways and my fan is much louder than this dehumidifier on max fan setting. The color changing option is great, however, I still don't know to properly set the color and the instruction manual doesn't say anything about changing the color. One day I'll figure it out. The size is much smaller than you'd think (and that's a good thing, I really didn't want a giant bulky machine sitting in my room). The design is great, slim, very lightweight, very portable. The removable / washable filter is fantastic. I haven't had to clean it yet but it looks like you can just wash the filter and put it back in after it's dry. I love reusable filters! Overall I am very VERY happy with my purchase. Will be buying another one for my dad after we move to our new apartment! I typically do not like to score anything 5 stars but honestly this product truly deserves it. I wonder if KeepGlad makes a bigger version of this dehumidifier for the family room that's like 2,000sqft because that would be great (even though our new apartment is smaller I like knowing I would have the extra square feet to work with). Documents that came with this are EXTREMELY VAGUE! No phone number to call for help. Would not turn off. We sent it back.

Description is false it claims 1000sq feet but it is only 2.8 pints a day. Thats only big enough for a closet. Small ones for bedrooms are considered at 20-30 pints a day. I will be returning

Functions perfectly, I love the design, isn't loud at all, love the color changes, it's the perfect size for my apartment and best of all it really does a great job keep the humidity level low. Does not work. I have had this plugged in a damp room overnight and barely any water in the tank. Hoping I will be able to return it.

Looks nice, well built. It's a Pelletier cooler type. It's only 2.8 pints per day per the more details section. I overlooked this when ordering. Returned because I need a refrigerant type of dehumidifier for my basement.

    • Waste of money
The product does not match the description on Amazon at all. It explicitly states that it reduces humidity by forty percent. In reality, it reduces humidity by two percent, and even that is not always the case. It collects between 5-10 milliliters of water per hour. The part that is supposed to purify the air does not work at all and the filter remains completely clean after a week of use. It seems that all the attention in the product was invested in visibility and LED lights, so if you are looking for a colorful flashlight, this may be the right fit for you. I searched for a long time for a Dehumidifier and decided to choose it because all the reviews on it were 5 stars, it says you can wash it, it has 90 watts which means the device is more powerful than similarly sized products on the market, it says it collects up to 40 OZ of water per day, reduces mold odors and that it is suitable for spaces up to 1000 sq. Ft. My rooms are 200 sq. Ft, and the device does almost nothing, it's a shame to turn it on and waste electricity. I tried to contact Keep Glad, to try to find out why what they advertise on Amazon's website about the product does not match the product at all, and this is considered fraud. The two company emails that appear online do not receive emails. In other words, it is not certain that such a company even exists. I feel sorry for Amazon who advertise and sell products they have never tested, thereby repeatedly damaging their professional name. If you know of a small, non-heavy Dehumidifeir that does its job very well, I would love to hear about it. ... show more
