This cordless tiller is easy to assemble, lightweight, and perfect for small garden beds or tight spaces. The dual batteries let you alternate for extended use, and the 48 steel tines do a good job on soft soil, compost, and weeds. That said, it doesn’t compare to a full corded or gas tiller, which is often to be expected from cordless versions of tools. The battery life is short (around 15–25 minutes per charge), and the proprietary batteries could be tricky to replace in the future. It’s best for quick touch-ups or light gardening, not heavy-duty soil prep. Overall, convenient and user-friendly, just don’t expect full power for large projects.

This is a pretty good little tiller for light duty work. I had to wait for the ground here to thaw out a bit to give this a proper review, but now that I've had a chance to use it I like it a lot. It arrived packaged well and it's fairly easy to assemble and get up and running. The motor puts out a decent amount of torque, and the tines are good for digging into damp ground. Overall this thing runs pretty smooth. The batteries are where this thing falls short. It comes with 2 batteries, but I have serious doubts about the claimed 3000mAh capacity rating. They charge from dead to full in just a couple hours, much faster than they should, and they only last about 10 or 15 minutes of constant use before they're dead again. As far as I can tell, there are no replacement batteries available right now, which puts a serious damper on the long term viability of this tool. I personally got really tired of waiting for the batteries to recharge, so during one of the down cycles I decided to rig up an adapter to let me use my Ryobi batteries with this thing instead. With an official Ryobi 2000mAh battery with known high quality cells inside I get a pretty consistent 15 minutes of run time, and I have 6000mAh battery packs at my disposal so I've been able to really extend my run times significantly. I mess with battery packs as a hobby though and have a fair bit of electrical experience, so my DIY hacking results here may not be easily repeatable for the average user. I think the stock battery situation should be accounted for in purchasing decisions here.
