I love the size of the holes in the mesh, it allows very good water flow through the bag. I use it to add carbon and crushed coral in my hang on back filter or directly in tank. I wish the bag had a zipper instead of string, because it can occasionally come undone. Just double knot it and you will be fine! ... show more

I had a hard time finding bags small enough to fit in my aquarium filter. These are really nice and fit well but for purigen or other fine products they don't close well enough and stuff can come out of the top.

they work as intended ! a bit smaller than i was expecting but they definitely do the job for holding filter media or carbon pellets. you just tie the string closed and it's all set. was debating between these drawstring bags or the ones with a zipper but i'm glad i got this one instead.

Was looking for bags to put in a cartridge filter. These are small bags an had to use 2 bags to fill up each section in the filter.

These were the smallest bags I could find for my tank. I have a very small hang on the back filter and needed to put some peat moss in it to lower the hardness. These bags work, no problems so far
