We finally got the garage doors painted and put these on. They look great! The box was surprisingly heavy and they are solidly built. Each piece was separated from the others so they did not get scratched in transit. Our doors are metal but the raised bits are plastic so we needed the screw in straps and handles, like these. Installation was easy. We took the time to measure and used a level do draw a straight line in the middle of the plastic trim so we could mark the screw holes and the straps and handles would be straight. We then used a small awl (sharp pointed tool) to make a little dent for the screw to grab on to. The screws did not break. These are NOT magnetic and taking the time to measure and level means they do not need to be adjusted. We got these on sale and have totally changed the look of our garage doors. ... show more

Very happy with this product. This was a replacement for my existing corroded hinges. Easy installation, but two out of my three existing holes needed to be re-drilled. No problem. I highly recommend this product.

    • Lined up Perfectly with the holes from my previous 6-yr-old hardware!
A perfect fit to replace the 6 year old hardware on my aluminum garage door. Before purchasing, I measured my current hardware pieces, and the positioning of the screws. They were the same as the new ones based on the listing's diagram. Switching only took 20 minutes to make the switch, and everything fit perfectly! They look like they're done in powder-coated paint. Hoping they are rust-resistant for several years. Since I use a remote door opener, I never use the handles to actually open the door. But if you do, remember, like all decorative garage door hardware, the handles really aren't supposed to be used for lifting the door on a regular basis. What a terrific product! ... show more

I personally like these much better than the magnetic ones they just feel more sturdy and look more legit. Took about 30 minutes with nothing more than a drill and impact driver.

    • Direct replacement for existing door hardware.
Direct replacement for the decorative hardware my builder put on the garage door 15 years ago. I will note that the screws that came with this new hardware were slightly larger in diameter than the original ones, so I had to drill each existing hole with a slightly larger bit (no problem, whatsoever). The quality of the new hardware is very good, and I'm so glad that I no longer have to look at the old rusted and paint-peeled ones! ... show more
