I love this slicer and use it constantly. (Do buy the glove as well as a safety precaution.) I am constantly grabbing it for my salad to slice quickly anything I want to add to my lettuce. Soups are easy. Dial the size of the slice with ease. I have the very expensive Mandolin which is difficult to clean and use. This one exceeds all my needs. Using a V slicer and specifically this brand is great because it had the proper amount of surface for slicing and feeding thru the area. A slicer does NOT operate this way. This one operates easily making every fruit or vegetable perfectly sliced. You can adjust the size easily right on the handle also. Love it . By the way, I also purchased a kitchenaid however the surface for the article being sliced isn't nearly as efficient as this one. ... show more

Never thought I would write a review for a mandolin…but… I have had this mandolin for over 10 years at this point. I’ve taken it to multiple countries to prep vegetables on fishing/hunting trips, and it is a regular go to in my kitchen. The V slice makes cutting tougher vegetables more easily. I also love the adjustability of it. From paper thin slices to thicker slices to speed up prep for ceviche or pico de gallo, this mandolin rocks.
