So far so good, we have had it for a week and have made a few drinks every day. The machine is very easy to use and clean. Overall we are very happy with the drink options, flavor of the espresso using good quality beans, milk frother works great and easy to clean and the footprint of the machine on the counter is sleek. I miss the body of the machine was higher quality, every piece is plastic instead of Stainless. DO NOT buy this product. We did, this was our experience. Absolutely loved the machine. Then in month 11 started malfunctioning, despite our great care for it, including only using bottled ware for the water chamber. Researched the web and found it’s a common issues We were still with warranty . #amazon told us we had to go to the manufacturer so we did. Their customer service jerked us around for two months. We spoke to five different customer service reps, each making us restart the process. Claiming things like, they didn’t receive a video of the machine malfunctioning, our receipt from Amazon,etc.. want received, etc.. We kept doing it, Delongji kept saying they didn’t have it. Then later acknowledged (oops, they did have it all long). After two months of an awful customer experience, Delonghi’s resolution was for us to send the machine to them to fix it. We were then provided no time frame to get it back. Absolute clown show of a customer experience. Had they from day one asked to send the machine to them, offered to fix it, gave us a time frame to get back to us and been accountable to that we would have been amenable to that. Two months later after jerking us around through 5 different customer service reps, you might have thought they would have apologized for the experience and sent us a new machine. After our experience and the lack of accountability, we have no idea how long it will take to get our machine back. All of this for a product that retails north of $1k. Excellent coffee machine. My husband and I have our own settings and it makes excellent Macchiatos. It’s been a great change from coffee pods. It’s very easy to maintain and clean. We have been enjoying it for 4 months so far. Brew time is fast and you can have an option to add extra water right after brewing. I heat up my cup to keep the macchiato warm longer. I drink it slower so the warm mug works well. My husband drinks coffee black and his coffee is hot. Overall an excellent all in one Espresso machine. ... show more

This was a horrible experience and a waste of time. I had to return the machine. This is definitely not idiot proof and requires a lot of time. After paying $1,000, I resent that now I need to invest hours getting this thing up and running. This is just overly complicated and, in the end, the machine was malfunctioning and stuck in some sort of endless loop. $1,000 and 3 hours later, I still have NOT had a latte! I had a great experience with De’Longhi customer support. After about a year and a half of use, my De’Longhi Magnifica Plus developed an electronic issue and was no longer functioning properly. I contacted De’Longhi’s warranty department, and their team was professional, responsive, and easy to work with throughout the process. After evaluating the issue, they informed me that the machine could not be repaired and offered a replacement. To my surprise, they sent me a brand-new De’Longhi Rivelia, which is a newer model with additional features compared to my original machine. What impressed me even more was that they provided a completely new 2-year warranty on the replacement unit, even though my original machine had already been in service for about 18 months. It’s rare to see a company stand behind its products this well. De’Longhi honored the warranty without any hassle and exceeded my expectations. In complete transparency, this is the 2nd De'Longhi machine we've had problems with. The first machine was an Evo model, and we thought it was just a fluke, so we returned it. However, this is the Magnifica Plus, which is highly rated and reviewed as a better machine. Unfortunately, we cannot determine that, as neither machine has brewed a single cup of coffee for us. Amazon delivered the De'Longhi Magnifica Plus machine quickly, and it looks immaculate. Unfortunately, that's where the enjoyment ends. I gathered the machine parts, and the initiation process began. The machine guides the consumer through filling the tank, positioning the waterspout in its designated place on the front of the machine, and then adding beans. The next step is that the machine is hard-programmed to rinse itself, allowing the enjoyment to begin. This is where everything fails. We press the only button available, and the machine clicks from the back. Silence ensues, and the menu endlessly recycles. We are stuck in a never-ending cycle of trying to satisfy this rinse program, and are unable to enjoy any coffee functions from the machine. We started this rinse cycle escapade on Friday night. We opened a ticket with Dehlongi and are waiting for their 2-business-day support response. If things improve, we'll update our review. Until then, we're stuck looking at an expensive countertop paperweight. ... show more
