The coffee machine did not work at all when I received it. The company was already aware the machine was not working, yet they still charged me $360. After returning the item, they only refunded $179 (about 50%) and kept the rest as fees. If I could leave 0 stars I would. First it got delayed at customs and took over a week to arrive. Then it finally arrived and would not even work. I picked up the renewed De’Longhi La Specialista Arte, and I’m genuinely impressed. For a refurbished machine, it arrived looking brand-new — spotless, well-packaged, and ready to go. The machine itself punches well above its price: Heat-up time is fast, so I’m not standing around waiting for my morning shot. Built-in grinder is consistent, producing an even, fine grind that makes espresso taste rich and balanced. Tamping system is simple and effective, which takes a lot of guesswork out and keeps things cleaner. Milk frothing wand actually has power, letting me produce a real microfoam instead of bubbly milk. The entire machine feels solid — stainless steel where it counts, quiet operation, and thoughtful controls. If you're someone who appreciates café-quality espresso at home without dropping a thousand dollars on a machine, this one is a no-brainer.
