I've only had this for a few days, but it's performed quite well so far. It looks decent, has a pretty good capacity, stays reasonably cool. Absolutely maddening to use, but I doubt if any of the others are better- they insist on putting these idiotic electric brains in everything; it would be so much easier with just on-off, temperature, and convection on/off controls, but we soldier on. I've tried a couple of the pre set programs; the "cookies" setting worked pretty well with a pretty average sort of dough; the "pizza setting" was less successful and took almost 20 min. for a thin crust pizza, but it may be as well as you'll do with an oven that only reaches 450 degrees. The accessories that come with it are OK- a perforated pizza pan would work better than what they give you, and a cookie sheet or two would be great; then again, it's gotten pretty hard to find a regular size cookie sheet, and most of what's available is insulated (ie useless). Actually, the supplied pizza pan has embossed lettering so deep that it actually holds much of the crust away from the bottom of the pan, so that's not so good. There is a sort of sheet pan (I thought for a while that it was the bottom of the oven. It is not, however, flat- there's a large raised rectangle in the middle with embossed lettering, so it's pretty much useless for baking.The big question with these ovens is durability, which of course I can't tell at this point; the heating elements are metal rods, which are reputedly more durable than quartz elements, and the electronics seem to be pretty well protected from heat, but it's hard to be sure. The glass door is hinged at the bottom; this is probably the most convenient for loading the oven and placement, but it does make it vulnerable if you drop or spill something while loading/unloading the oven. The signal buzzer is nearly inaudible from more than a couple of feet, so not very useful. The included accessories are solidly built but poorly designed, a surprise from this company. ... show more

This is probably the best oven I have ever owned!........Except for the door design. You need three hands to put anything large in the oven because the door has to be held open. This should've been caught before production! Except for the door- I would give it 5 stars!

I purchased the air fryer primarily for that specific function. What I found out is that it is mediocre in the air fry category, and only somewhat adequate in the convection bake category. I realized this when I used my son’s air fryer and was amazed how quickly and how crispy the food cooked. If you’re super tight on counter space, give it a try, but don’t expect fast, crispy chicken or fries, and cook times are comparable to normal ovens. I have purchased two of these ovens in the last 2 years. I liked the first one so much that I purchased a second for our summer cabin. I liked the many different features and settings, and even though it took some practice to learn the procedures to set the toasting part, it worked great. Until I came down to toast my muffin a couple mornings ago and it was completely dead. No lights, nothing. I checked to be sure it wasn’t the breaker and it was not. It was less than 2 years old and of course no longer under warranty, and my suspicion is the control board has gone out. Power supply cord was checked and it has power; just no response. I contacted product support and 4 days later I have not heard back from them. I didn’t think it would last as long as my original DeLonghi (10+ years) as nothing these days lasts very long, but I certainly expected longer than 2 years! So I doubt I will purchase another DeLonghi. ... show more

Don’t know why I put off buying this for so long. There is nothing like air fried chicken thighs and corn on the cob … our new favorite meal. Great with other things as well. Wasn’t that excited about the toasting function though, it dried out the bread too much. That’s okay cuz it earns its keep as an air fryer. I also love the foldaway function. The door doesn't stay open all the way when putting things in it. That's the main complaint, also the dial can be complicated to use when setting temperature or timing the cooking cycle.
