2-27-25 update The camera has had to be charged only once since I got it... and it has had a WORKOUT! Turns out there are three unaccounted for cats who have been swinging by for meals (I think only one guy has been actually sleeping in the cat house when it got really cold around here). There have been a lot of other visitors, but I've been able to identify them as indoor/outdoor or colony cats from my neighbor's colony. But the wonderful thing is that knowing exactly how many cats are new to the neighborhood means that the two black cats that I'm seeing were not conflated to just one and that we can get everyone new in to be vetted BEFORE there are lots of new homeless kittens. The camera works really, really well--the night vision is very clear and the camera has been scent-marked multiple times without any ill effect. I really like the feature of being able to live stream and capture images and videos directly. The three day storage is perfect for me to be able to review what's going on and easily download clips to my phone or send them off to other people while not having to maintain massive amounts of space for lots of 10 second clips of cats eating and hanging out in the little cat house. Also, our recent cold snap really was cold--it was right around 0 with wind chills of significantly below and the camera did just fine. Absolutely no performance issues that I noticed with the camera or the battery life. 10/10--definitely recommend! I just set it up yesterday, so I can’t speak to the longevity… but so far it’s pretty great! I wanted a camera to check on who has been using my emergency cat shelter (little heated cat house) that I put under my porch during the deep freeze we had a couple of weeks ago. I went back and forth quite a bit about whether I should get a trail cam or a wired camera. Ultimately, I decided that a camera that could run on my WiFi (it’s literally under my front porch) that I can stream or capture images was best. Well, this really is pretty fantastic. I suspect I’ll mostly need the night vision, but both daylight and night vision modes are very crisp and clear. This is what the camera caught last night—not the cat I was hoping for, but I’m honestly ok with little Paulina here using the shelter if need be. Last night was not cold but it was rainy, so maybe all she needed was the porch shelter. The camera got a couple of videos of her walking around the cat house, but she did not go in. Also including a pic of the shelter in daylight (overcast and kind of rainy). The camera was very easy to pair and pretty easy to install (the difficulty was all me trying to install it on the “ceiling” under my porch, which is just not a comfortable place to drill). I will update if anything fails… but so far I really like this camera—may actually get some to use for security and not just animal watching! ... show more

I purchased this camera to replace an older one which had started to malfunction. I was expecting the same quality picture I had become accustomed to, but I am very pleased with how much better the quality is. Even in total darkness I get great video. I have mine set to use black and white video for night recording which I think works best. I have the motion detection set to Medium and may set it lower as it can be a little over sensitive. The app works great and it is easy to add additional cameras as needed. I also purchased a small solar panel to keep the battery charged. If you choose not to do this you will need to dismount the camera and charge the battery every 5 months or so. ... show more

This is a good camera, was easy to setup and provides good coverage, one on my driveway, watching my vehicles and one on my front porch watching my packages. the app is easy to install and allows multiple cameras. you get can get cloud storage, but it also keeps a couple days events, without paying for the could. the picture is very clear and adjusts for night and day. I have the bear minimum of bandwidth on my network, but still get full video and up to date action. For this price, it covers what you need to see and keep an eye on. ... show more

One camera works perfectly well. The second camera worked fine for about four months then started dropping offline for no apparent reason, requiring a hard reset to reconnect. The camera giving me issues is closer to the router than the other camera that is working fine but shows a medium for wifi strength. The only way I’ve been able to make it stay connected is to move it indoors and within 10 feet of the router. Obviously not able to use as an outdoor security camera in that scenario! I’ve moved location and swapped camera and the one giving me issues continues to drop connection regardless. I have many other devices on wifi including other cameras, smart plugs, Alexa devices, tablets and laptops, etc. and the only device giving me issues is this particular camera. Other than connectivity issues the camera are great. Very good resolution and easy to set up. Just disappointed that one of the cameras is not performing in a way that I can use to monitor my yard. ... show more

I love the clarity of pictures day or night. My only complaint being the battery life. I am vertically challenged and I have balance issues getting up on a step ladder to pull the camera off the wall to bring it in the house to charge for 6-8 hours is beyond a pain in the butt. I need to buy another camera for the garage side of my house. I'll be getting a solar version of this camera, and switching the solar one to the front of the house and putting the battery operated one in the back where there is less traffic both car and foot ...I do like the ability to set an area of priority and to pick level of motion sensitivity. The ability to hear and speak two ways is a big bonus. Highly recommend this brand. ... show more

I purchased this camera in July 2022 and was very pleased with it until December 2022. It worked well for what I needed it for. I utilized my camera for a view of my driveway that I couldn’t see with my doorbell. The camera went offline one evening so I assumed the battery was dead and needed charging. I charged it for 10 to 12 hours; after doing so the camera would not come on or stay on. When I would attempt to turn it on it would make a beeping noise and then immediately shut off. I’ve attempted multiple times to charge with the same result. I reached out to customer support and tried everything that they told me. I charged it more and I rebooted it. The camera is still not working and will not turn on and stay on. So if the camera won’t stay on it’s impossible to reconnect. Not sure what else to do but I do not recommend this product as it only lasted me a few months. Will purchase a different camera through another company that hopefully will last longer and not be money wasted. Update: after contacting the original manufacturer, They assisted me with problem solving the issue. After no luck, the original manufacturer requested a new camera be sent out from the Amazon seller. New camera was received and is working for now. ... show more
