Small stature, big power

This little brick is really nice. The size is super small for the power it puts out. I wish I picked this thing up earlier cause it is a real powerhouse. Originally, I was using a 60w MacBook charger as my main USB C charging station and this blows it out of the water. It charges everything you throw at it stupid quick and all the extra ports are nice to have. It's got a nice heft to it and I've taken it on multiple trips and it hasn't has any problems being thrown around as I pack and unpack so I'm confident it can take a hit and keep running. They included a long 240w cable which is plenty long and is honestly now my favorite spare usb-c cable. Overall this thing is a great addition, relatively small, plenty of ports, smart. Anker knocked it out of the park on this one, if you have a bunch of devices and are bad at remembering to charge things, this is a great pick up.

Anker 140W 4-Port GaN MacBook Charger Review: This Anker 140W charger is the kind of device that makes you question every charger you’ve ever owned. The moment you plug it in, your old power bricks start looking like museum pieces next to flip phones and wired mice. Yes, it’s expensive, but unlike most “premium” tech that charges you more for a logo, this one actually earns its price especially on sale. This 4-port GaN block is ridiculously fast. I plugged in multiple devices expecting it to slow down, but instead it handled everything effortlessly. It can charge an 11-inch M5 iPad Pro and 13-inch 2026 M5 Macbook Air at the same time to 80% in around 30 minutes. It can maintain a steady 135W output with a high-capacity battery like the Anker 737, and recharge a large power bank from empty to full in about 45 minutes. After using this, regular charging feels like dial-up internet. Overheating is impressively controlled for a charger this size and pushing this much power. It monitors its temperature up to 10 million times per day, constantly adjusting performance to keep charging efficient and safe. It gets warm under heavy loads, but never reaches the “should I unplug this before it starts glowing?” level. Connectivity is excellent with four ports: three USB-C ports for modern devices and one USB-A port for keeping older gadgets alive. When using all ports, it intelligently distributes power: USB-C1 up to 65W, USB-C2 up to 45W, USB-C3 up to 12W, and USB-A up to 12W. The manual breaks down all the charging combinations if you want to explore every little detail. This Anker 140W charger is easily one of the best power blocks I’ve owned. The charging speeds are ridiculously fast—it powers up my laptop, phone, and accessories in no time without overheating. Having 4 ports packed into one block is super convenient since I can power all my gear at once without needing multiple wall adapters. On top of that, the smart display screen is awesome. It's really cool to see the real-time power output for each device so you know exactly how fast everything is charging. Highly recommend!

A true Anker believer — this charger is exactly why

I've been all-in on Anker for a while now and this charger is a perfect example of why I keep coming back. 140W across 4 ports with a smart display and GaN efficiency — everything you'd want in a desktop charging solution, packaged in something that doesn't look out of place on a clean desk setup. The smart display continues to be one of those features that sounds minor until you have it. Seeing real-time wattage output per port makes it easy to know at a glance that everything is charging at full speed and nothing is being throttled. Genuinely useful, not just a gimmick. 140W is more than enough to fast charge a MacBook Pro at full speed while simultaneously handling an iPhone, iPad, and AirPods without any of them compromising the others. GaN keeps the brick compact and surprisingly cool for the output it's pushing. Build quality is classic Anker — solid, well-finished, feels like it will last for years. No cheap plastic, no loose ports, no heat concerns. If you're already in the Anker ecosystem this is an easy next purchase. And if you're not yet, this is a great place to start. Consistently the best in the category, no competition.

Solid device with some heat issues

This thing is great--I bought it at release, so I paid a higher price than it's selling for now, and I still think it's great even at that higher price. Multiple outlets, great output speed, and the screen is both neat and informative. It feels solid and well made. I was worried about the screen cracking, but it's lived in my travel bag for a year now with no signs of wear. My only issue is the fact that it will thermal throttle rather often. It really only does 140w for shortish bursts--I plugged it into my Solix c300 and I got 15% battery at full speed before the charger thermal throttled down to 115w. It's absolutely fine for my common use case, which is a laptop and two phones, but when I try to charge larger batteries it thermal throttles pretty quickly. Best to view it as a ~100w charger with 140w burst ability. Still, I would buy it again in a heartbeat. It has tons of headroom to charge the vast majority of things that I actually use a usb-c charger for.

Have now bought two of these - Youtube Project Farm approved and I second that. The little display showing output per port is surprisingly useful. Stays pretty cool even when charging laptop and phone. Power plug folds flat and packs easily into my backpack. The only thing I would ask for is 1-2 more ports in the same space, but probably not possible for heat/power. 10/10

Anker makes a great product and have had more than one of these chargers and they’re worth it as they work really well keeping my handheld pc charged well. I like that it monitors your temperature with the added led display. I Would recommend this charger to anybody.
