These ice cube trays are fantastic. I love the shape of the cubes and how easy they come out of the tray. My only complaint is that a small piece chipped off when I first used one of the three trays, but it doesn't impact how they work so it was a minor concern.

The ice trays are a harder plastic, but very durable, however, if dropped they will break pretty easily. Love the size of ice it produces, and it saves more space than traditional ice trays.

I have an old small apartment refrigerator-freezer which has made ice-making rather difficult until I ordered this set of three ice-cube tays with lids, storage box, scoop, and ice tongs. These trays are quite clever. Each tray has two levels made from somewhat different materials. The white part is fairly rigid like you find on your typical ice-cube tray. The colored part is flexible making it easier to eject ice-cubes by pushing each cube out. Further, the top of the colored section is the perfect fill line for adding water. If you fill the tray to the top of the colored section, once frozen the ice will pretty much exactly fill the whole tray. Further, the lids fit reasonably snuggly making these trays stackable. My freezer is currently woefully disorganized, so I have been stacking these ice-cube trays inside the storage box while in the freezer. While unorthodox, this prevents other things from falling onto the trays. My only complaint is that the ice-cube tongs are bit small even for the available space in the storage box and the small cubes, but that is not enough for me to deduct a star.

If you've used one ice cube try, you've used them all right? Or so I thought. I absolutely love these. It took me a few tries to figure out how to fill them properly (I suck at reading instrutions) but once I did, I loved them. You fill the bottom that doesn't have holes half way then put the top (with holes) back on .. if any squeezes out of the tiny holes, I just lift the tip cover and dump it out so it doesn't freeze on top. I like them better then the ice that my fridge produces. The ice from the fridge tends to be white and cloudy and melt faster, I may be crazy but these round ones don't melt as fast! LOL kids love then too. Best 10 bucks I've spent in a while!
