This is my second one. I used the first one every day for 5 years . The clip slider at the top has lost its ability to stay the the most extended position. The clip still works so I can use it still use the item. But because of this, the slide ruler covers the bottom line of text so I purchased this second one. Serve its purpose well. The adjustable clip is great. Line guide is only good for a few sheets of paper. Can't use it on book. Hope it's adjustable too.

I like the slide so you can pinpoint where you're typing. And, it is very lightweight. But it falls over easily and the slide doesn't lay flat so when you move it up and down it comes off sometimes. It is okay to use but I hope to find a better typing stand.

I bought this to help keep track of where I am on a knitting pattern chart. This does the job and is fairly priced. Some minor issues. First the clip does not hold the paper as securely as a metal clip. It can shift a bit but the pattern would certainly not fall out. The line in the middle of the guide can get lost in the pattern. I will probably try one of the hacks to make the whole ruler opaque as it is not a magnifier. This beats anything else I’ve used for pattern tracking so I would likely purchase it again. ... show more
