We stripped the old lights off our ten year old, 7' artificial, indoor xmas tree because half of the old bulbs did not work and at least a dozen sockets were missing bulbs. I never liked the fact that the old bulbs emitted quite a bit of heat and were not energy efficient along with being frail and finicky. It was a bit painstaking removing the old wire, a lot of which was wrapped tightly around the branches. (Sorry to even have to say this but obviously the lights were not plugged in during the cutting of the wires). The dazzle lights are an excellent replacement. They are small, lightweight and unobtrusive but give plenty of light without being overwhelming. The rule of thumb is 100 lights per vertical foot of tree so we bought two 300 led coils (each approx. 100 feet long) which seems more than adequate. The bulbs are spaced 3.94 inches apart (old ones were about 8" apart) and the lead in wire (no bulbs) is 16 1/2 feet. We happen to have an outlet close by and only needed 4-5' of lead wire but it was simple to coil the extra wire and easily hide it near the center of the tree. One of the other reviews mentioned entanglement of the light string, therefore I carefully fed the new bulbs out of the factory coil without any problems as I walked around the tree with the coil grasped in one hand. I'd say this would only be a problem if you have small hands. The light strings connect together quite simply and again the extra lead wire on second string is simple to hide. Installing the two strings took about 15 minutes. There is a button on the plug for the different functions which I would not define as a remote control, so no rating for that category. I have not played around with the different functions other than a quick test. I'm very happy with the purchase and our tree looks like new.

The media could not be loaded. These Christmas lights truly added a magical touch to my tree! The small bulbs added a delicate and charming glow, perfect for creating a festive ambiance. Installation was a breeze, but I encountered a minor inconvenience: the lights don't connect among each other, so I needed extensions to link all the sets I purchased. Despite the lack of interconnection, the lights offer a variety of settings, including steady glow, twinkling, and fading effects, which allowed me to customize the ambiance to my liking. When it came time to disassemble the tree, the lights did get a bit tangled. My advice is to take them off patiently, one extension at a time, to prevent tangling between sets. Despite this small drawback, these lights are beautiful and definitely worth it for the festive glow they bring to any space!

Easy to apply/hang to almost anything (bushes, trees, poles, etc) that allows the strings oftiny lights to rest ON something or circle around something. Lights are nice and bright, can blinkt or stay in one mode, several colors and variations. One question: certainly would want to use yearly and wonder if the remote will still have power after waiting one year to reuse? Removing and storing can somewhat tedious. I took a 12" long 2" wide i/2 inch thick piece of wood and wrapped each string around it, then placed in a random box to protect it--easy enough. Our neighborhood was set ablaze with several of these for every third or fourth home. Very popular. Also had a question of the need to protect the units from moisture (I wrapped it/them in a zip lock plastic freezer bag and made a slot for the plug ends thru the base and closed the zip around the power wire, then electrical tape around that. Somewhat difficult to remove, but took the precaution. I find them very nice for the Christmas-New Year holidays.

Good value here I love the appearance of these lights I made a Halloween tree last year the colors were bright and beautiful. I love the different modes it has the dimming one is great! The cord is thick so I don't have to worry about it breaking.

The media could not be loaded. Non-traditional use of the lights, but had them on my 40' Mega-tree last year. Even after it crashed down in a heavy storm, the lights still worked. Built a new 52' tree this year and added a few more sets of lights (video). I did have 1 out of 24 sets fail this year, a section with 20 lights or so, but I always keep spares on hand as we get a lot of drive-bys to see the tree. Pros: light weight, LED saved a bunch on the electric bill, bright enough to be seen at a distance, great price, durable Cons: can't replace bulbs (on the other hand, no loose bulbs, no bad sockets). Initially last year, I hated that the controller wouldn't stay at a specific setting, but it turns out, for my use, the random pattern makes my tree even better. For the curious, there are 7200 lights on my tree, 4800 green, 2400 red and the 6' Angel came from the orange box hardware store.

I loved these! I got them 2-3 years ago and have used them on my Halloween tree every year. (Goes up on Halloween and stays up through Christmas.) they worked perfectly, my cat chewed through them this year- so I stripped the wires and wound them up together, they still worked fine, but if I’m doing Halloween again this year, then I will have to order new ones. With that in mind, the string is more than long enough with plenty of lights for a full size Christmas tree and then some. Found myself winding the lights up and down at the top to the middle of the tree just to not have them all bunched up.

Not true LED. Pulling out for outdoor Christmas lighting and after really reading the voltage…google conversion to watts and these are not low voltage. Purchased in July and not able to return. One set is 29 volt so max 4 strings together is the max you plug into outlet. Multiple outdoor outlets still run from one breaker that would be maxed out with the 4 strings. I have several true led lights and led snowmen I put up. I will be taking these all down and if I could return I would but too much time has passed.
