Cute, fun, brings joy to the breakfast table (or dinner!). Super easy. Wiped clean with soapy paper towels prior to first use. Heated quickly. Used Krusteaz waffle mix and cooked for 3x minutes, about 1/3 ladle mix each. Came out perfect. Let cool, wiped clean easily . Didn't need oil, but if so, could use olive oil (avoid spray, per manufacturer). I love these little things - bells & whistles make life more enjoyable. ... show more

Bought this back in March, but only used it for the first time this week. The first waffle we made was simply to get out any off-gassing (since the waffle iron was really smelling when we first heated it up, and other reviewers said that there was an issue). After that, waffles were darn near perfect! You have to make the waffles according to the mix directions (I used Kodiak Protein Waffles, both buttermilk and chocolate), carefully spread oil all over the surface of the waffle iron using a silicon brush, and carefully distribute just a small amount of batter. Close the waffle maker and wait for the light to go out, then it's done. Really. Yes, the waffles are small, but it's a mini-waffle maker, what do you expect? We got the Peeps one, and you can fill in the bunny with one type of batter and the rest of the waffle with another. It looks really cool! Even if you don't do that, the bunny in the middle is quite visible, and not the huge indent I was afraid it was going to be--it actually just has an indented outline and eyes. ... show more

This mini heart waffle maker is so cute and would’ve been perfect for my event! I was really excited to use it — the size is great for fun, bite-sized waffles, and the heart shape adds such a sweet touch, especially for brunches or special occasions. Unfortunately, I had to return it because it didn’t arrive in time for the event I bought it for. Total bummer, but not really the product’s fault. Makes perfectly brown and fluffy, delicious waffles. The temperature control works great to avoid burning! It's very non stick, I can make cheesey eggs in this with no sticking. Easybro use and easy to clean. Not cheap feeling, nice and thick material. I use this almost every day!
