I am thrilled with this purchase. The separate laptop sleeve makes this backpack perfect for business and personal travel. For longer trips, I can fit headphones, tech case, toiletry case, travel blanket, travel pillow, and purse. If I don't need the pillow, I can also fit a small bag with a change of clothes (but not shoes). The wide mouth makes it really easy to get things in and out of the bag. There are ample pockets (well covered in the product description) for smaller items. The charge port is towards the top, so it's easy to get to even when the bag is full, with a pocket at the bottom on that side to hold your battery box in place. The outer sleeve easily fits my 15x10" laptop and iPad air 2, with a sturdy velcro strap to hold them from being jostled, with padding on both the computer pouches inside the sleeve as well as on the outer wall of the backpack. There is ample outer storage as well, with 2 of them zipper pockets "hidden" by flaps, which maintains the sleek look of the bag. The material is water resistant, easy to wipe down without messing it up. The back is mesh (cooler on your back for carrying), with a luggage trolley strap. The backpack straps are adequately padded and easily adjustable, but there's no chest strap. My only negative comment is that there's no place to stow the straps for hand-carrying - but that's an aesthetic rather than functional issue, so no dinging on star ratings, when I can just tuck the straps into the trolley strap. The carry handles on top are formed (thicker than just cloth handles) and rounded, with a snap to hold them together, all making it easier on the hands when the bag is heavy. The bag is very pretty, with nice contrasting metal (bright gold on black), but not too much of it. It fits nicely into my simple taste for bags, while allowing me a bit of fashion. ... show more

I bought this bag to replace my purse/travel bag. I like it for your day to day use as a purse. I also like it as like a backpack/laptop bag. I took it on a staycation for Thanksgiving and was able to fit a lot inside. I like the deep pockets inside for storing my Chromebook, Kindle and or a journal and a book to read. I was able to fit two bottles of water, a few feminine products, and a bottle of perfume. In the smaller pockets in the front I usually carry my phone charger, a power bank, keys, and identification. What I like most about it is the thick straps and how much weight they're able to support. This bag is good for either a purse, a carry-on, a quick overnight bag, or even a light backpack for school. I LOVE this bag! I got the 17inch not upgraded and it's amazing! It already has so many pockets I didn't need to upgrade to two more. It's a quality item. I purchased it to use for overnight work trips to keep snacks, shower stuff, a change of clothes, ipad, and other work items in. The study pull open top makes it SO easy to find what you need without having to dig. I personally chose to cut cardboard and cover with duct table to place down at the bottom of the bag for a sturdy base so the bag stands on its own when empty and that worked great! you could easily use this for a weekend bag or carry on, there is so much room! ... show more

I wasn't sure which size to get, so ended up buying both the 17" (grey/white) & the 15.3"(orange) bag. I included shots of my computer measurements so you can see the size and model of laptop I'm working with. I don't lie when I say I love this bag. I own the mini version as my everyday purse and love that it comes with 2 water bottle holders inside the bag, as well as 2 outside the bag. I use them to hold my sunglasses case and anything else I don't want getting lost at the bottom. Occasionally i even use them for a water bottle. Because of the way the opening is sewn the throat space on the bag is very large and makes everything inside the bag visible right away. Not to mention i can fit a ton in it without having to stuff it down to the bottom. I would suggest this bag for anyone whether you are a student and need to carry books, or as a travel carry on, it keeps everything organized and tidy. ... show more
