Where do it start, this is a great value for the money for a camera that is both reliable and a great value. The video quality is on par with one I had paid much for years ago. The installation was a breeze and supplied cable was long enough for both cars I installed in. One thing I hear is an issue in many of these is connectivity and I have to say this one was easy and consistent. I have pulled the card out and used in the computer and it was easy to find the videos although most of the time I review them with my app. The adhesive seems to hold fine since one has been up for six months now and the gps was very accurate when I check back to make sure. My husband loves this dash cam!!! Works great the quality is great, not phenomenal but definitely viewable if needing to pull the video. App is supper easy to use and my favorite thing is that you can see when it's recording and when it isnt. Just plug it in, connect to app and your ready. Super quick and easy it's basically fool proof. Not just that the adhesive is strong. Hasn't dropped once and when we put it on the windshield in a funny angel the first time we took it off and it stuck back on just fine with no need to replace the adhesive. My husband sends me videos of close calls all the time (Atlanta drivers) I can see the license plates clear as day. Pretty good camera, easy installation, need to buy the the memory card. Can't really read license plates from the footage. The connectivity is annoying because the car must be on and running to look at recordings and download them, which is slow. Otherwise, though, it does the job. It captured a collision of 2 car on video that happened in front of me at an intersection and I shared it with the police. Pictured is bus driving down the center of 2 lanes. ... show more

    • Unreliable, stops recording and you can't tell
I have owned this for a year or so and it is very unreliable. I needed a video couple of times. first time I found out it stopped recording even though every time I turn on the car it tells me "start recording" , second time I can't even stay connected to it through the App and it's WIFI to view the video or download it. I just spent an hour in my car trying to get a video and then I gave up. I can not even view the SD card in the computer it wont show up, it shows up in the App but the App vanishes before I can do anything. very frustrating. Don't waste your money but more importantly don't rely on this device and think that you got videos because you wont. ... show more

This dash cam is mid. I've been in 2 near car accidents and after this last near accident I realized I need a live dash cam or something. This camera is reactionary, which in most cases it won't turn on and record until it's too late. Spend more and get a dash cam that will actually protect you. The video quality is good, brightness is fine, the dash mount works great (mine has been on for 1.5 years), the size is compact, and the cable is long enough to run around my dash so a wire isn't hanging in your face. ... show more
