I wanted to say that I was DUMB thinking that I knew better about the SD cards. I had a higher end card with better specs that what was recommended and the Camera didn't work. Ignored the advice in the description about purchasing the correct card. I contacted customer support as the camera worked and formatted the card, but would not auto record. They send a replacement camera and the same thing. So I gave in and ordered the recommended card and the Camera worked. Stoopid me...... Customer support was fabulous and responded so quickly. The only reason I give 4 stars is because I was relegated to purchasing a brand of SD card that I personally do not like. Interoperability between SD cards should be supported. I drive every day through the city center and on the interstate. Having a camera these days might just be what saves you when it comes to accidents and fender benders. I wanted something discrete and simple, but effective and this camera fits the bill perfectly! It starts recording as soon as I open my car door, and through the WiFi connection and the camera app you can access the video feed in real time, which is fantastic. You can also immediately save any video to your phone, which is very convenient. You can change the length of the recorded videos in increments, and when hardwired, it even has a 24-hour parking function. I bought the recommended card to go with it and haven’t had any issues with it. Set up took 5 minutes for me, but I already had a hardwire kit installed from a previous dash camera, so that might differ for those who don’t have it already in place.     • Good Camera and Great Customer Service
I put the camera up in my car about a week or two ago. Setting it up was easy, and they gave a little clear plastic square to mount it to my windshield so I don't get any sticky residue on it, which was nice! The cord is really long and has little adhesive things to secure it. I stuffed the extra behind my glove box. It can rotate up and down so you get whatever angle you want of the road. The camera quality is good, I was parked behind my dad in the driveway and could read his plate fine. I have a 128 GB SD card, the recommended one, and I have it set to make 5 minute recordings back to back to back throughout the trip until the car turns off, so when I look in my app, if I started the car at let's say 1:30, I'd have recordings at 1:30, 1:35, 1:40, 1:45, etc. until I turned the car off, each 5 minutes long. I have not (luckily) been able to test the crash detection part, where it saves it separately. I did test taking a photo, which worked, and I did not try but saw you can download the videos to your phone so that you have access when you are not in the app (which only works when connected to the wifi it produces, which it only produces when plugged in) or when the SD card gets full and it starts overwriting the oldest videos. You can also delete videos yourself. Now on to the customer service, my first unit was faulty, it kept beeping and saying Start Recording and Format SD card throughout trips, making many recordings less than five minutes each and being audibly annoying. I reached out to the company, and they sent me a new one without any hassle! (I had already submitted my information on the warranty website.) The camera works great and video is clear in app. The cons for me were that you had to buy the SD card separate, the wire looks tacky even with the clips they provide to pin it around the interior (half my clips came unstuck the first day), and my biggest complaint, it does not automatically connect when you start the car so unless you physically go into the app and connect the camera before you drive, it’s not recording. ... show more

This is an awesome camera. I have it installed on my bronco sport. The camera has a wide angle both horizontal and vertical (that way it can record traffic lights). The interface is quite easy to use and you can lock or download any files you wish to keep or transfer. I feel much safer, legally, while driving my bronco with this camera present. It will also record audio for you. This is an option you can turn on or off. I would suggest if you get this camera you also get a reliable 32GB micro sd card for it. Great product! ... show more

    • It just works, but it could be better.
It survives the Texas heat and handles being powered on for months at a time without issue. My only complaint clock drift, it's about 5 hours drift per month. Don't expect your timestamps to be accurate unless you connect to it using the app regularly. Omitting a quality RTC and it's matching components probably saved $5 on the BOM. ... show more

All I have to say is that overall it was a good camera very clear not fuzzy at all. I just didn’t like the fact that it interfered with my own home Internet and I had to keep shutting the camera off in order to get on my own Internet because it comes with WiFi and no fee. also thought that you could see your car from inside a store but no your phone has to be close to the camera in order to pick up that you can see it on your cell phone so that was a no for me but overall it was a good camera. ... show more

After reading other reviews, I was hesitant to buy this product. I assumed I would have a lot of technical difficulty and issues with setting it up. That absolutely wasn’t the case for me. Set up was a breeze (maybe 20 minutes). The camera quality is excellent. The app seems to be working just fine. I found that the seller is very communicative, they send the product with more than enough instruction and also provide an email upon delivery with set up tips. I have my camera set up to be used only when the vehicle is on, but they do have an option for parked vehicles as well which I thought was nice. The camera comes with extra adhesive and cord clips. I tucked mine behind my rearview mirror, and love the placement. I don’t know how I went so long without a dash cam it’s so nice to have the extra security blanket (especially if you live in a bad town for drivers). ... show more
