Bright and HOT

These little lights are impressively bright for how small they are.. They also get HOT! I was testing them off of a battery in my home and even with the cooling fan coming on. I was uncomfortable with how hot they got.. Not something you want to hold in your hand. With proper installation in the engine bay area or the grill of a car these would be great the lenses are sharp to look at and clean like glass. They have many many mounting configuration options that will make finding a spot for them easy to install. They are a metal construction and feel durable and of good quality. one test I plan to "eyeball" is to compare brightness from initially turning on to after ten minutes of constant use and see if the brightness degrades from the heat. Wiring Wise they are pretty straight forward. I will probably install using an on-off-on rocker switch to get the color selection function to operate.
